| Why is it that when I try to post a reply to anything, I get random and recurring errors about memory problems, being unable to open a stream, or having a page become unavailable, as in a 404? It's becoming a bit of a nuisance. | |||

Could be database backups, a faulty script eating resources, heavy traffic on another part of acmlm.org, etc. Computers don't really need a reason to act up.  |

| That usually happens when there are too many people or when the server's low on memory (I think it usually runs at ~1-10 MB free, but that's sitll shared memory across the entire server, and we only run a vhost with 256 MB)
This, however, is more worrying: Try refreshing it every few minutes; it's going down much faster than it should be, and I have no idea why; the board only takes up ~13 MB. |
