I'd like to make a Rom hack of SMW called Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy: Superscam.
There would be three versions, and in each version, you control a different
Ed. Also, you go through the locations in a different order, depending on which version you're playing, and some of the levels would be different for each version.
There would be 6 Locations (aka worlds)
The Cul-de-sac
The Playground
The Woods
The Construction Site
The Junkyard
The Trailer Park

One Problem: I suck at GFX.
I'd like someone to design the GFX for me, so I can make this hack a reality.
I would like to start working on the Ed Version first.

Hmmm..... I sense some major n00bishness zooming over the horizon...

Seriously, though, this could work. You'd have to do a lot of GFX hacking to make it work.
I can help in some way, but... I'd have to see what you've gotten done so far.

Wasn't there an Ed, Edd, and Eddy game for GBA? If so, maybe graphics can be ripped from that.

Hehehe, I would like the hack...
Only if I actually saw something good out of this, though. If the sprites look crappy, forget it. If the graphics are too shaded for the tilesets, nope. It has to have that... authentic EEnE feel...
But since nobody has yet to try making a hack of this...

No, No, and No, this project will never work with SMW. Use some sappy Non-Nintendo licensed hacks.

Pardon me? It could work if you had someone good working on it. However, three hacks is pushing it...

Ahem!
A: I would agree with you there. Three hacks that differ would be difficult.
B: DUH! To get Jawbreakers! Better yet: REBEL ROBOT RANCH! Ed is kidnapped and Eddy is brainwashed. Double-Dee must save Ed from the clutches of robo-Eddy and save his friend!
Eh... something like that...
C: Umm... they just can?

I remember when Lemon Luigi was working on this... he sent me a picture of Double-Dee as he would appear in SMW. It was a nice sprite... if I find that, I could improve upon it...

A: Maybe one could have flowers only(Smart one with some gadget), one could have feathers only (the stupid one with underwear on his head and fly using it ) and one could have stars only ( ...not sure how tho)?

B: ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooookay....

By the way, if you want, I can help with levels. I can't figure out how to make my own EXGFX yet. You'll just have to get someone else to do that. But I can do levels. PM me the hack and I'll see what I can do.
How much have you gotten done so far?

Don't wanna contribute to the whole Insectduel bash, but my god. You of all people, who is putting Pokemon sprites into a SMW hack, have no right to say that a hack idea wouldn't work with SMW.

Even Super Maria Sisters ExGFX is so creative.

That statement didn't even make sense. You contradict yourself. And yes, it would be highly possible. Moving graphics from GBA to SNES would just be a simple effort of copy, slightly edit, and paste (give ot take palette editing, couple of Hex tweaks to get the physics right, ect).

Although the idea of an Ed, Edd, & Eddy hack does seem a little... best word coming to mind is "unusual." Run with it though, might turn out good.

I haven't really got anything much done, so starting on a clean SMW Rom wouldn't make any difference.
