I forbid you from using my Peach graphics. You should at least have asked to use it you moron. Especially degrading the peach graphics that I made in such a crappy hack.

And Peach is okay to use because you didn't make Peach first. Nintendo did.

Anyway, I think it's a demo. He needs to touch it up a bit.

I drew that peach. Nintendo did not.

I was willing to let anyone use the graphics that I draw. Only if they ask my permission. Because he did not ask, I will not let him.

I believe the same style of that peach was from SMB3. From Super Mario All-Stars.

Why do you find that unbelievable? People put hard work into their sprites - they have the right to choose whether or not other people should use it.
Also, Nintendo has allowed roms on the Internet (excluding limitations), so they would have put a lawsuit on us if they didn't like us using their stuff.

Yes, but there is a difference. The person who made their own work put time and effort into it while the person who is using it did not. The person who made it isn't getting anything out of it, especially if no credit is given to him/her.

this is shocking! If somebody ever used stuff from my hack without asking, I'd... make sure everybody knew they used it without asking! (Except maybe BMF or Fu, course I'd tell everyone anyway then, just without the anger) I mean, I can see with Exgfx, if someone said, "No get your own jerk!" Then I'd probably do that. I think, if they don't want to have to design their own, they shouldn't touch the graphics. (without permission first)

Actually, I just thought up another example: Let's say your name is Bob. You made... a lego model. It was totally frikkin' awesome, so you put up a piece of cardboard paper with the lego model which read, "Best Lego Model Ever, Created by Bob."
Then, someone (let's call him George) stole your lego model and rewrote the cardboard paper to read, "Best Lego Model Ever, Created by George." Not only did he steal something that you owned, he took all of the credit too.

...as for an optional part of the story, people sacrificed him to the gods.

The moral of this example is that, not only does someone who steals artwork not put any effort into it, they also take all the credit. Any sequencers from VG Music like me would know this well, as plagiarism is quite frowned upon there. This is why you must ask the person for permission before you use his/her stuff. Or else, crap will hit the fan - or, in other words, poopoo will hit the perverbial blade.
