Supper (fish, fries and coleslaw) done, church done, and now I'm sitting in front of my PC with cookies and hot chocolate.

Nice time of the year.

Actually isn't it more dedicated to the son of god..whats his name...

I'm not at all religious but i celebrate it cause it gives our family a chance to mingle. I bought my 11 year old sister a SNES and a bunch of games so me and all the siblings are gonna bash out some mario kart. Should be great. That and the food should be something to enjoy.

I just got back from my 2nd family's house and it was a great time. We had a bonfire going and ate and talked and then opened presents (they open on Christmas Eve). I had a great time and tomorrow I'm going to my sister's house. What sucks though she lives like 150 miles away so a long ride....

Ashley, powdered hot chocolate can be very good. You just need to find a good one and then... you know... experiment with it. Add a splash of milk to it or something. Some marshmellows, cream...

So far I've gotten a few gifts from family, mostly money or gift cards. The most creative I've gotten is a "money tree".... literally a piece of wood with $25 in cash tied to all the branches

$25 on EACH branch? Because if that happened, then I'd think you're a very lucky Danielle.

...Then again, a piece of wood = one branch, so yeah.

Oh... a REAL money tree.

Now, do you strip it of its cash or plant it and cross your fingers?

It wasn't that big!

(...says the man with a very nice DSL connection who wouldn't really notice...)

I need to take a picture of the tree (with presents) before I go to bed, actually...

Sorry.. I usually do, but with 4 boys all under the age of 7 thrashing about my room fighting over which game they're going to play, I didn't really feel like loading up photoshop
Not that you're missing anything. It's a treelike wood thing with money tied to the branches.
