Acmlm has a SMW ROM and RAM addresses thread.
Why not have one for any game?
Could a mod sticky this?

How to post a find:
1. State the game it is
2. State whether it is a RAM or ROM trace
3. Give a description of what it is.
4. Try and be sure someone else hasn't found it before

If you would like to request a trace:
1. State which game you're talking about
2. Give a discription of what you're talking about
3. If you have any minute info that can help, don't hesitate to talk about it

I'll start with this. Super Mario Bros. 1 Level and Enemy Data
More SMB1
RAM
7E075A: Lives
7E075E: Coins

ROM
0x107A: # of lives to start with
0x3C22: # of coins needed for a life
0x53E2: Distance Pirhana Plants must be for them to come up.
0x53E3: Change to B0 to have the Pirhana Plants only come up if Mario is close enough, rather than far enough.

Super Mario Bros. 3
ROM
8E5E: First sprite Lakitu throws (Red Spiney Egg).
8E67: Second sprite Lakitu throws (Green Spiney Egg).

Super Mario All-Stars
ROM
113F99: First sprite Lakitu throws in SMB3 (Red Spiney Egg).
113FA2: Second sprite Lakitu throws in SMB3 (Green Spiney Egg).
1AC07: Change to EA EA EA EA EA to enable Pirhana Plants in W1-1 for SMB1
1DAB4: Change to B0 to have the Pirhana Plants only come up if Mario is close enough, rather than far enough for SMB1.

So far I only have Super Mario data, but this is open to any game.
P.S. I'm not sure whether this should be in ROM Hacking or Advanced ROM Hacking.

There's a few different websites devoted to this sort of thing.

...Why aren't the links stickied here, anyway?

Dahrkdaiz collects more SMB3 data than anyone here. I think that includes SMAS as well.

I uploaded more links on SMB1 data. Click on my site. I even change the navibar's name to SMB Stuff instead of SMB2J stuff. I'd better finish the TSA and Background Editor for SMB2J. Almost finish. But some TSA's that beta have in SMB1 were written in Japanese so I cannot understand which TSA brick it is.

DD's site doesn't work for me!

Do you plan on building an editor for SMB2J?

AFAIK, SMAS SMB3 is just the NES SMB3 for the most part (aside from graphic/sound code), so most addresses are probably directly portable.

Off topic a bit... about your site, for some reason their scripts are requesting permission to access files outside of the site, even though they only try to load some data file on their own server. Have you considered another host? (Also, lol @ the fact that they use JS to enforce their weird anti-form policy. )

spel werdz rite: Check datacrystal (or wikiRAM).

No idea, but they should be.

Might help if you did your anchor tags right?

Also, like the others, I recommend using either Datacrystal or WikiRAM for this. Personally, I prefer Datacrystal, but I'll not get into that because it upsets some people.
