Doesn't seem like too many people have much faith in their team. If the Oilers win, then that sucks. My team is out so I guess out of who is left, I'd like to see the Mighty Ducks take it.

I think Oilers might spoil the California series like the Ducks spoiled the much anticipated Alberta one.

I keep reading these articles that the Ducks are aware of the fact that they finished the second round earlier than their opponents, and they don't want to be unfocused when it comes to gametime. They must be afraid that 2003 is going to happen again, when they swept Minnesota and New Jersey went to 7 against Ottawa, and having all that time off doing things other than hockey, they came out flat against Jersey.

Uh...that didn't make any sense since new jersey and ottawa are from the eastern while anahiem is western. I believe you wanted to say that the ducks swept the red wings, defeated the stars, swept minnesota, and then went to game 7 against the devils...

Ha.

Replace the "and" following "Minnesota" with "while" and everything should make sense.

As in "They must be afraid that 2003 is going to happen again, when they swept Minnesota while New Jersey went to 7 against Ottawa (in the East of course), and having all that time off doing things other than hockey, they came out flat against Jersey."

Edmonton goes up a game against the Ducks. Buffalo goes up a game against Carolina. It's been pretty good so far, looking forward to the rest of those series.

That was a crazy rally of goals in the 3rd period. I wish Anaheim would win seeing as Edmonton has already won the cup before. Since before that game, they only had 1 goal against the Oilers. Maybe scoring those 4 will help a little with their confidence. They started off playing well with Edmonton but the Oilers seem almost invincible now.

The Ducks stay alive in game 4 at least, winning 6-3. Now that they've broken the Oilers' mysteriously-defeating-the-Ducks-by-one-goal-every-time-no-matter-what curse that's lasted god knows how many years, they might be able swing enough momentum to take the whole series.

25 shots in the first period, GAH.

They were saying how the Oilers have the flu going around their team now. Not that it was the reason the ducks won. I think that last game, putting Giguere back in goal was a smart move. I hope the Ducks take it.

Booooooo.....

Although I didn't want them to win, I guess Edmonton kinda deserves it. Being the number 8 seed and taking it to the Stanley Cup Finals is great for them.

If Buffalo doesn't make it to the finals then I don't know who I want to win out of who is left.

I don't want Carolina to go to the finals.
