| The "I am rubber" thing is the most common playground retort in America. Would assume worldwide, but I don't spend much time in foreign playgrounds. Maybe you should ask Kawa about that.
Any sword can "cut through layers of steel" depending on how well-made the sword is, the relative strengths of the sword's material and the target's material, and exactly how thick of something you're cutting through.
