Ah, in that case, have you ever tried beef bacon? I know a lot of people who don't eat pig's bacon for whatever reasons (usually cultural/religious), substitute it for beef bacon.

My ex had a whole lot of it when he was in Malaysia, for example, as pigs' bacon is very hard to find there.

I can only eat Bacon with pancakes. I like it not too crispy, not too raw. Just in between. If it's not in between I won't eat it.

If you want flat, crispy, slightly-greasy bacon strips, try this:

-Take some strips of bacon, line them up on a plate, then put another plate flat on top of it.
-Set the microwave to 2:30min (I think on pwr 10)
-Lay the bacon strips on some paper towels to absorb the grease
-Flip them over, back to the plates
-Cook for another 2:30min

You have perfect bacon, enjoy!

Oh man; crispy bacon is awful. The crispier the bacon gets, the more disgusting the fat gets, and eventually I simply can't even stand to eat it. It's gotta be chewy (but not raw, of course).

The pre-made bacon isn't that bad either (just microwave it and you're done) but it's pretty expensive. Turkey bacon too.
