1.92 was the last 'real' Acmlmboard, then it split off to 1.93 -> 1.A0 -> 1.B (Jesper/||bass/Kasumi/ErkDog) and 1.92+ -> 1.92.9 (Xkeeper)...

1.92 is pretty easy to work with compared to 1.B and such, but it's still somewhat hard... 1.92.9's code is mostly easier to read (spaced out, not condensed) and some old code was fixed up/optimized/re-done to be better and less full of security holes...

I still one day plan to make a distributable version of the board software, but as of now, the latest is still 1.92.08, which is still ready for release.
