| Well since it's a forum about Sports let's talk about Tae Kwon Do!
Do we have any other Tae Kwon Do students here? I've been doing TKD for over 6 years now and am only a 1st Dan. The past 2 years I had to do it on and off due to college. |

| I took Tae Kwon Do when I was in high school. The place I went to had a 4 year program to reach black belt, so I made it to Red, 1.5 years away from being able to test for black belt. stopped because college came (or well, I was taking community college classes and that was taking too much of my time) | |||

| Wow 4 year programs? That's pretty long...Most places it usually takes 2 years or so. In Korea at the Kukkiwon it takes 10 months to get to 1st Dan, but you do it every single day except weekends. It's like a job. They live, eat and breathe TKD at Korea. At college they even have TKD as a Major. | |||
