I know how to embed a Quicktime movie in a page (by using embed or object), but what I want is that the movie doesn't load immediatly when visiting the page.
People should first click an image, then the movie replaces that image and starts to load, how would I do that? And is it possible in XHTML (Transitional)?

I'm sure there is a more official way of doing this, but would just place an image over an iframe (using css positioning), then set the onclick for the image to change the image's visibility to hidden and redirect the iframe to a page with an embedded video.

Well I already work with absolute positioned divs.
And what I want is to put the movies on hidden divs, and when you click a link, the div shows, and you can watch the movie after you click it. So I can't really work with (i)frames.
Dunno what happens if you don't do that, and when the movies already start to load on hidden layers, I'll have to test that.

Or maybe someone knows a site where this is used? That way I can look at the source .
I'll try to look on some trailer site, maybe they use this.

Edit: nevermind, I found it in the QuickTime Scripting guide. You have to use a "poster movie" .
