You could always put them in yourself at a reduced size. I've done much more complicated things than that, like getting two enemies that use the same section in the tile files to work together in the same level (for example, I got Volcano Lotuses and Parabombs to work together by giving the Parabombs a parachute that resembles the top of a lotus).

Let's just hope the level designs and gameplay is just as good .

There's absolutely nothing wrong with using SMAS/YI graphics. Why do you think they're used so often? Because they rock, that's why. Of course it's nice to have others as well, but there's no reason to avoid them entirely.

I love these graphics, though.

-Awesome, but being able to jump up and slide down the slopes would kinda ruin the 3D effect and make it confusing.

That roy's castle shot looks awesome, apart from...maybe the star pattern is a bit too repetitive. Unless it scrolls, maybe that would make an effect but still. Maybe it needs some more variation.

Other than that, everything is pretty near perfect.

Buggy layout

Looks like Roy's Castle was some kind of worshipping place - you got the statues, and the head platform. Was that ripped from Actraiser?

It wasn't Actraiser. I know this because I've ripped all the graphics from it before (still in screenshot format, though).

It certainly has a similar style, though.

And, richyawyingtmv, you should be able to edit your own posts. Check the header/sig/post for any misplaced </table> </tr> or </td> tags.

Sorry for my screwed up layout, I fixed it.

Anyway, the graphics were ripped from Super Valis 4, 2nd Level.
