By the way, about the graph, you didn't notice this earlier? Clearly people didn't like you taking over anyway, like I've told you a zillion times, it's not Acmlm's board. Why you're setting up your own and hoping everyone migrates is seriously beyond me, as if you expect everyone to leave this one for yours simply because you were a former leader here? First, the advantage to being here for as long as I have is that I know all of the drama that goes on around here. I know what is, has, and will be. I have seen and been part of mostly every major conflict in this community, I have seen both sides, I've been here during the good, the bad, re-registered after two major board crashes, gained and lost friends, and had some become enemies, while some enemies became friends. And my seat of power that I attained was not just a matter of "Oh, I was here a while, so i get a position". No, I fucking earned my place. People referred me to a position of power because they knew I was good at what I do. I am nice to those who show respect, common sense, and an awesome sense of humor to others. I attempt to help out problems. And you know what, fuck you for saying that none of that matters in this current debate. Last year, I gave up my spot because I was having family problems, I was having a rough time getting into college, and several other buckets full of shit were placed on my back. That's why I gave up my spot on the staff, and left. Ever since then, I've kept away from here, trying not to think about it. Xkeeper, he was a good friend to me way back in 2003. Fuck, we were two of the mainstays against one of our former hosts, but then he got power here, and it went to his head. I know you're reading this right now Xk, it all went to your head. But shit, I forgot all of that. I seriously did. Up until last night when someone told me he was gone. I said I didn't want to be dragged into this, but they got me, and here I am, yelling at you for being a dumb fucking newbie that doesn't know shit about his community's history. In short, I ahve experience, you don't, none of what I did tonight was some evil plan to get back at someone, nor did I plan shit at all, and that you should just shut the fuck up or look shit up. |

Oh, shut up. As if five year's long service or a staff position counts for anything  You've been around for long enough to know that nobody is safe from ridicule or obscurity here. You were entrusted with the "power" to close threads and clean up the crap, everyone knows that. That's what being a moderator means. It means fuck all if you get banned or there isn't anyone to pay for the server.
The board will still be here after you or I bugger off and get a life, though. Indeed, it's done fine without you, so don't expect your return to mean much at all. If you know the history of the board you'll know we've been here before and come through worse. I don't think the events of the weekend are that big of a deal with the single exception of XKeeper stepping down, but it does irritate me when you come back as soon as the doors open again to gloat about your power and importance.
