I exported multiple levels from a ROM A, and reinseted them to a ROM B. But after I did that, it caused a major glitch in ROM B, and whenever I hit a ?block/brick/turn-block with something inside, the screen goes mostly black and the game freezes. Luckily, I made a backup of ROM B before I did this, but I would like to know what might be causing this, any ideas?

Ya know, something somewhat similar happened to me once too, I had tinkered with sprite 36 and I screwed up my ROM, I then took all the levels off the original and put them to an untouched ROM, transfered ExGFX, and it still left me with a problem. When I reached about screen nine I had about the same problem you describe here. The game would freeze and the screen would go blank, however it was fixed when I tried transfering the levels again.

Did you alter the sprites? That may be the problem

I believe you should try to transfer the levels to a clean ROM again, and if it was due to sprite alteration, don't do whatever you did.

I exported all of the levels again, and reinsterted some of them to a backup copy of my ROM to narrow it down and find exactly which level was causing this, and I found it to be Level 14B. The rest of the levels seem to work fine, so I don't really care any more.

@Xeruss: maybe you're right there, because my hack has dozens of edited sprites.

Well if there's nothing more to add, I guess this thread can be closed.
