What are some cool dreams that you've had?

I just woke up from one of the best dreams ever.

I was Link, and I was playing through OOT. It was pretty intense. Most of the dream I spent looking for the final piece of heart, and I forgot that Lake Hylia existed. So I went to the lake, and remembered I never got the heart piece from fishing! When I walked into the pond, it was different. I remember thinking: "who hacked this?"

Anyways, there was a whole new world beyond the pond, as well as a bunch of Kirby minigames.

More happened, but I don't wanna make this too long...

I have two different kinds of dreams. One kind is your normal run-of-the-mill dream (dreams, nightmares, whatever) and the second is the kind I've been having recently.

It's NOT a wet dream, you asshats.

It's a very lucid dream. I remember every detail from them. I have had a full day's worth of memories gathered from these dreams in one night. And I remember them all.

For me, it's induced by music. I turn on some ambient music (Like Relics of the Chozo) and just lay down. My body falls asleep, but my mind doesn't. It's always constantly racing. Whilst having these dreams, it feels that I am amidst the "real thing", only that the "real thing" was created by my mind. I hear every sound, feel all the pain and emotion, and see all the detail. I even recall smelling things too.

This might be something like a "writer's gift"... This is a long read ahead. Kinda.

----------
One night, I fell asleep to "Relics of the Chozo", a very emotion-arousing album based on Super Metroid. As I started this particular dream, I found myself in an abandoned power plant with amber lighting, and concrete ground. The pipes sort of resembled the ones in Maridia, although were a bit different. A touch of the Tourian decor could be found there too. The pipes were rusty, and some were broken. Only the local pigeons could be heard rustling amongst the towering pipes and steel, along with the occasional metallic creaking sounds. The atmosphere did not block the view of the stars, which covered the black canvas of space with a rainbow of dots in the alien sky.

Upon investigating the immediate vicinity, I immediately ran into the Hunter, which I finally came to realize that my presence here was of immense importance. I came to negotiate a deal between the infamous bounty hunter. There was a certain Space Pirate that killed my family back in the peaceful days on K-2L. Seems that she wasn't the only survivor in that brutal attack.

There was only one thing that caught Samus's attention. I held some important information on her family's murderers. Samus does not usually take part in personal vendettas, only missions of extreme importance.

"I got your notice" Samus calmly uttered, raising up a transparent plastic display screen. "How do you know Adam?"

"He and I met in a bar." I replied with a tone of respect. "Ever since, we've been good friends. Once he learned about my past, he gave me some details on it. He also told me that he's been having trouble confronting you about this. He asked me to do it for him."

Samus looked at me with an expression of understanding. "All I want is the information. Nothing else."

"The responsible party is located on a concealed base on Zebes. Sub-junction 15B."

Samus looked at me with the most victorious expression. "I'm going to stock up at the starbase before I head out. Don't worry about the contract." She started back from whence she came.

"Samus!" I spoke to her as if I knew her. After all, I was one of the other few survivors at K-2L. "Bring back one of those bastards' heads for me."

Samus nodded and walked off. I proceeded to navigate out of the quiet complex of metal conduit. When I reached the perimeter fence, I opened the gate and passed through. As I closed the gate behind me, I pressed a button on my glove on the back of my hand. A black vehicle came out from behind a building just adjacent to the power plant. The vehicle looked like a slick drop of water, with a window at the nose. It abruptly stopped in front of me, and opened its hatch. Inside was a comfortable interior, with control panels and holoscreen projectors.

I stepped inside and spoke:
"Home".

The vehicle hovered from the ground without disturbing the dust and debris. It climbed to an altitude that allowed me to view the entire complex, and soon, my destination.
----------

Well, that's all for now, perhaps I'll turn this into a fanfic.

I've recently had a few dreams where I get a Wii (I tend to dream a lot about getting stuff I really want). I remember one dream where I get a Wii with no games (not even Wii sports). It would suck in real life, but in this dream I was too excited to care.

I've had no dreams that I can remember for at least a year. I used to dream a lot (and some of them were really wierd), but I've been dreamless for a while now. Maybe it's because I'm more tired? I wish I could remember my dreams, they could be interesting.

I recently had a dream about an floating island way up in the sky. I was on a vacation at a resort (on the ground) with my family, except it wasn't my real family. We decided to get on a plane and fly there, yet somehow it was a forbidden land full of traps and we ended up having to fight for our lives. There were towering trees and waterfalls everywhere. I remember talking to some spirit in a rock that seemed friendly. I was trying to ask it for some shoes (since at that point I had lost mine), but it said it didn't know what shoes looked like, and asked me to draw on the stone what they looked like. Somebody warned me it was a trap before i decided to head down into this sandy pit to draw them, and suddenly a blood red cage fell from the sky, almost trapping us, but we leap back before it ensnared us. I do remember it was a beautiful landscape, but definitely forboding. Seems like I had Shadow of the Collossus on my mind.

Later on we somehow escaped from the island and there were some gangster-like types selling cookies back at the resort. They were chocolate sandwich cookies, one of them with brown chocolate frosting, and another with red frosting. I don't know how I knew, but the red ones were like forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. Obviously I chose the normal ones, fearing I would lose my soul.

In the earlier parts of the dream I was a detective investigating the disappearance of some woman in an apartment complex.

I dunno, it was a fun day to dream. All the dreams were dark and moody yet i somehow enjoyed them.

Years ago, I watched some dumb scifi movie where the world was gonna blow up and whatnot right before bed.

That night, I dreamed that, lo and behold, the world was going to explode, oh no. However, the...mayor of somewhere...happened to have some sort of escape pod that apparently had just enough room for him, my sister, my mom, and I. Some argument was implied, but I don't remember if it ever actually happened in the dream; possibly about the fact that, in fact, we wouldn't all be able to fit. Then, it turned out that it didn't work anyway, or we were too late to use it before Doom came.

And as the impending destruction of life came, we all looked up at the bleak, brown sky, seeing the wave of radiation or something coming for us. I closed my eyes, and actually felt the wave vibrate through me, intensely. I waited a little while, wondering what had happened, and if that was what dying was like; if so, it wasn't so bad. I opened my eyes, curious as to the result of this strange feeling.
I was in my dang room.

Yeah, the dream wasn't as weird as the almost seamless transition into wakefulness.

I had a dream not too long ago that had to be called a lucid dream because I was fully aware that it was a dream and what the difference between reality and the dream was, and at one point even decided I didn't want to wake up yet (keeping myself from waking up often requires a conscious effort, actually).
Yet I wasn't lucid. I was not self-aware during the dream. There was no meaning to the word I.
I still haven't quite figured out how that worked.

::edit:: Dang, that first line has to be the most words I've crammed into a phrase without a single bit of punctuation.

The oldest dream I can remember was when I dreamed my parents were selling me to a six-armed businessman with a briefcase, and somehow I knew he wanted to eat me. And during the dream images of Golgo 13 would suddenly flash in and out, like a strobe light.

One that recurred a few times was where that Medusa-head boss from Castlevania would come to life (from statue-form) and chase me around a dimly lit citadel.

But what really disturbed me the most though.. twice in my lifetime I've had dreams I raped someone.
The first one was in a forested area where there were many women, each fully colored in a single color. Not ethnic colors, I mean red, blue, green, grey, white, black, purple, etc. Hair, skin, eyes, everything was a shade of that color. It was the green one that was the victim.
A similar dream occurred about a year or so later, but it was only the RGB colors present and it was in my house. Still in the dream, I walked into the kitchen where dad was cooking breakfast, and he just looked at me with disappointment and shook his head. These were far scarier than any other dream I've had, because it made me question myself even though I know I'd never do something even close to that. I don't even like the thought of it. Thankfully that dream (read: nightmare) hasn't happened again in over 6 years. I'd rather run in vain from inevitable doom than have a disturbing dream like those two. ..ugh

Other dreams I've posted in a thread in the Officer Club.

The worst dreams are the ones where you wake up thinking such an event really happened, or you got something in your dream and still had it.

This happened to me when the N64 was pretty new. I had a dream I played a 3D sidescrolling Mario, which was my interpretation of what Mario 64 could've been like, and I loved it. And the N64 looked glorious on my desk. I wake up the next day feeling great, only to look over to see the N64 wasn't there, and for awhile I was pretty confused as to why it wasn't there ...

Very, very sad day.

And for some reason a lot of my dreams when I was younger, was about bounty hunters and transformers, and other things trying to kill me. This stopped once I hit puberty though ...
