Well I knew imporing the stuff for the internet was not going to be able to be put in the rom. I know that its not easy to put in the music. I want to learn how to do it and that was the point of this thread. If I figure out MIDI then I can figure out mario 64, thats what you guys are saying kinda? I know you can't just import anything at all just like that. It would never be that easy. And damn, I leave to my house for school and then about half a page of posts came?! Well, I am off to google for hours and hours and hours to look for the stuff on MIDI. Wish me Luck! ........or not.....

Yes, encode to a 32kbs mono mp3 from a midi making sure it ends up no bigger than 695kb. Then you can inject up to 3 at the end of an extended ROM. Append FFFF in a hex editor to make the track loop. Update the pointer table accordingly..

If you dont understand that post, then you need to seriously either:

1. learn this stuff yourself. read guides, look on google, and so on.

2. Give up. Now.

Because I seriously cannot believe anyone could ever not understand what Dirtbag just said (ie. mp3 bitrates, file sizes, rom adresses). Heck, even my 13 year old sister understands those things, purely from using her MP3 player.

I don't really understand it either, but I've got a strong feeling that it was made at your expense.

I highly recommend abandoning this thread topic. PM me for some advice before you continue to get trampled in this endless parade of people criticising you. Comprehending all this information must be a bit of a nightmare for you, and I can understand that, so maybe I can help answer some of your questions.

Finally, someone that sorta feels what I am going through. And yea i know PM means Private message. And your 13 yr old sister is 13. THIRTEEN NOT 12 and 1 year can make a big difference. And optomon, believe it or not, through all this criticism, answers or hidden answers are coming through. So, I will take the criticism if it means I will get my answer. And no! I am not giving up because I am not the greatest in understanding this but I know I can after a few more romhacking reading. I have only hacked SMB1 very little and a lot of SM64. I come and find some information but I am still not perfect. I will never be but I want to keep on trying because one day, I will become a great hacker! so dont just tell me to give up on something because it will take more than that. I go through criticism everyday at school so on the board is not really anything different. Nothing new...................carry on............... continue with some more information..... maybe you can be more specific dirtbag
