| Im not asking if I should shave something. rather, I do shave it. and by it, I mean down there. yes, thats right, down THERE.
now, until recently, this would never have even been a problem, but I've been trying a lot harder now to get a girlfriend, and I know for a fact that in 2 weeks, I'll be drunk for the first time (with other people, that I DO TRUST mind you) ever. I'm not peer pressured into it either, I just want to experience new things. but anyway, just in case something ever happens, I'll have you know I bleed a LOT when shaving that area. and not just nicks, I mean the blood gushes on the scale of being cut, and I have to shower afterwards until it stops. It doesn't hurt (anymore) when I get cut, just lots of blood (enough to fill a tissue with big dark spots). If something ever does happen, won't this seriously increase the chance of getting an STD? I mean, you cant see them after they stop bleeding, but there's lots of cuts/nicks down there (they don't scar though, thank god). Even if I used protection, they don't protect the area around the almighty shaft. (lol) and no, I don't actually cut the apparatus itself, more the area around it. if so, is there any way I can stop cutting myself? I've tried shaving cream, and it just stings my... scrotum, and I still bleed. I'm thin and I have a lot of dips in my body, and I have the same problem shaving my face, too. | Try waxing? No nicks and cuts, all the hair goes though and stays away for longer.
Hurts like fuck, but if you can handle a little pain it might be worth considering. |

| Now I, as a guy, would recommend against waxing your bikini-line. It hurts like hell and that area is very sensitive anyways, so don't.
I forgot the name, but there's this stuff that you rub into the hair and then you can wash your hair off afterwards, totally painless. I'll look into the name for ya. |

| I would say yes, it obviously would increase your risk of getting an STD. Skin is one of our best natural defenses, after all.
Wow. What kind of razor do you use? I NEVER EVER cut myself shaving (though I do sometimes get razor burn at the pants line when I do my chest.) And do you shave in the shower with just water and or soap? Good shaving cream works wonders. And a good razor with a semi-fresh blade is a must. Short strokes and some care are a good idea too. And I hope you don't shave every day or even every other day. I couldn't deal with that kind of irritation anywhere but my face. Out of curiosity, what made you decide to start shaving down there? I tried it but hated the way it looked. Oh, and if you didn't mind a little stubble you could always get a small trimmer and trim the hair at skin-level. | Most girls I've talked to think that shorn pubes on a guy is stupid looking =P But a lot of girls DO like a shaved chest. I no longer care, because shaving the chest got to be too much of a bother. I still shave my back though. Back hair is disgusting. And nasty ...and gross. | |||

| lol, at least you don't have a jungle on the *other side* of your pants like I do. You probably don't need to know this, but I'm getting a kick out of it, so lets just say the amazon has nothing on *that* patch of grass.
I tried shaving that once -- too hard. Can't seem to get it close enough and it looks retarded (no one sees it anyway... in my case). If I ever go that way again, I'm definitely waxing. The pain would be worth the reduction in trouble. anyway, I don't think I'll have to really worry about it for a long time. If ever. According to most people I'm "Eughh" (not sure how to spell that sound  ). Although a few people have said I was cute... but they were probably lying so my feelings wouldn't get hurt. |
