| Yea. Right. Parents insisted noone was camping out for the Wii still.
We went to Target a half hour before it opened and 10 people were there, I was 11th. Then it grew. Thanks god I got there when I did, they only had 38 systems! So I got my ticket, they walked us in, zig zaged us through every possible isle and then we got to the Wiis. No Zelda, No controllers. Shit. So I got the system, literally SPED to Wal Mart and grabbed Zelda. I've only played 17 minutes of Zelda, but me and my family are loving Wii Sports. They NEVER play video games (My stepdad love video games, but he had a stroke playing an Atari game when he was young and cant use his left hand well at all. But because of Wii Sports, he can play Bowling and Golf, Tennis and Baseball! My mom has not liked a video game since Zelda NES, but she loves Bowling  ) and we played from 2:00 to 5:00.
But yea, no extra controllers as of yet, but I do have Zelda
It's pretty cool that people are still camping out for it, but the system is just so damn worth it! This isn't posted on my Wii, as of a few reasons. 1) Babys up and watching TV. 2) The router at this house is only a Wireless-B, and it is pretty close, but I recieve and send data really slow and sometimes not even get connections. (For instance, the Wii web browser took 10 minutes to download, and I couldn't connect to WiiConnect24 unless I tried a few times. 3) Typing on the Wii is hard  But I'm getting used to it!
I also have a question, do I really need that damn Fairy in Zelda? I turned off the pointer because that damn jingle was bothering the hell out of me. Is there a way to stop the jingle? It's totally worth the price though. I recommend anyone the system! (Oh also, can I email peoples email addresses (like verizon.net or gmail.com) from it? I tried but I couldn't do it...) |

| I sat out for Wii the very first night. 2pm-7am the next day (i was first in line). I defiantly agree to the fact that it is worth it and that it is very fun. When I play Zelda half the time the fairy is of to the side of the screen and I don't really notice it. I'm surprised people are still having to wait outside for Wii. I went to Wal-Mart the other day and they had 5 PS3s in the case waiting to be bought. | |||

S.A.T.- you can email people, but they need to receive an email from the wii sating that you're trying to use the email feature. Then they need to accept it. Why not try inputing your own email and seeing what happens, it helped me explain to friends how it works. |

Given my luck I'd probably HAVE to camp out for one.  I'm probably just going to wait another month or so and hope the supply issues die down.

| I picked up a third wiimote last week or so. They didn't have any in my Wal-Mart, but I had to take a long drive so I hit another. There are certain towns in which you can usually find things like that whenever because the demographic isn't right for that sort of thing. That's how I got my ps3 on release night w/o waiting in any sort of line. (Easiest $500 I ever made.)
SNT: I'd recommend camping your Wal-Marts on Monday nights (when they get in fresh shipments of electronics and toys and whatnot.) If that's not possible for you and you have trouble finding one, I'll send you the next one I find for cost plus the $5 or whatever that priority mail costs. |

| The ratio of Wii sales to PS3's in Japan is 3:1.
Also, there's a good article out there about EA's stance on the market. They displayed gigantic financial losses, because of a handful of their PS3 releases, and are now extremely interested in the Wii and its potential. Sometimes I look at it this way, it was only a matter of time. The PSX took down the N64, the PS2 did the same to the Gamecube. It was only a matter of time before Nintendo got their revenge. 
Just bringing this up since people before me already mentioned the PS3, so blame them. |

I should be able to find some controllers somewhere... this is being typed on my Wii and i got to run! I'll ask more questions tomorrow

| I feel guilty now for having two Wiis Both in December.
But yeah, it's surprisingly easy to find PS3s. With the short stock, you'd think that PS3s would be impossible to find, but nope, almost every store has plenty of them; people aren't buying. |
