| Cardboard boxes, diet soda, co-op multiplayer, donuts at the dining hall, and the serenity that comes with a quiet winter morning in the dorm, with nothing to disturb me but my hum of my PC tower fan and the clacking of my keys.
And yeah, peanut butter milkshakes. The only place I can get those now is Coldstone, and the only store in my vincinity closed down for good because the EB Games next door to it was more popular. | It's quite easy. All you need is a live chicken, some peanuts, some ice, a Webster's II Vest-pocket edition, and a copy of How to make Chicken Nuggets. You figure out the rest. Good thing is, you don't even NEED the blender to make the damn thing! | |||

| Peanut butter milkshake:
A few big spoonfuls of peanut butter (or a little bit, if that's what suits you,) Several big hunks of vanilla ice cream (I go Blue Belle Homemade Vanilla,) just enough milk so that the mixture will blend/pour - you might have to experiment with this. Blend. Drink. Yum. What makes me happy tonight? The guest lecturer we had tonight for Environmental Law was REALLY good. I enjoyed the lecture. I had to drive to the next city and back after class because a friend left her biology book in my truck... but I came home with a pizza and a pint bottle of Grolsch lager. I'm going down to see my sis and niece for the first Mardi Gras parades this weekend. |

| Going to an In Flames concert in March (and concerts with several other bands here and there) without paying shit for it.
Well, atleast not in terms of money. But what I have to do to get these concert benefits is mostly fun as well (that is, working in a bar... so many drunk happy people.. hehe..) The thing that's not so fun about that, of course, is when you have to clean the place up after closing time.. in the middle of the night when you're dead tired, and would just rather be in bed. And not to speak of the toilets. 
But adding all things together, I would still say it's worth it. I mean, it's a good way to make many new friends, get free concerts and cheap beer.
Me, the headbanging nut. Way up front is the ONLY place to be. Actually, what makes (my) life good (at the moment) is: a) Music b) Friends, and other cool people. c) Looking forward to a future in an interesting job (if I can successfully complete my studies). |
