Inspired by the other thread about the most difficult Mega Man games, what Mega Man games are at the top of people's lists? I think I got them all (and mostly in order, save for some Mega Man Classic games that appear after MMX games), save for the ports (if one came out for multiple systems and I didn't mention the particular port you've played, just pretend you played one of the other ports ), so vote for your favorites.

Edit: That's odd. I included Rockboard: That's paradise as entry #38 in this poll and it's simply not showing up for some unknown reason. Any chance anyone knows what's up with that?

Since it's there, I guess votes for it will have to be expressed in posts. I vote for it. Also on my list are MM1, 3, X3, MM&B, and SAR.

MM2, 3, 5; MMGB 3, 4, 5; MMX 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 (yes, I added 5 as well).

The others I'm either an okay fan of or I really didn't get into (MMBN comes to mind).

MM3, 4, 5 and 6 out of the NES games. I voted for MMX2 and MMX3 of the SNES games.

Those were the ones I enjoyed the most.

MM2, MM3, MM5, MMX, MMX2, MMX3. I feel MM5 is underrated for the most part.

I chose Mega Man 2. It's the one I grew up with, and finally beat after about ten years of playing. Isn't it considered the easiest one?

Yeah, Mega Man.. isn't my strength.

Eh, possibly. I actually consider MM1 to be the easiest, but I may just be freakishly good at that one. Some of the later ones might be easier than MM2, too; MM6 comes to mind, for example.

I went with...

MM2, MM3, MM4 (NES) - MM1 isn't bad but for me it started with MM2, which was fantastic... and then MM3 and MM4 were still very good although not as great as 2. Peak of the series right there.

MM1 (GB) - ...I own it and despite it being VERY short it was fun and unique. Good music too.

MMX (SNES) - I think the sad thing here is that I beat it on both the SNES and the PC.

MM&B (SNES/GBA) - Just a solid game with enough unique stuff added that gave the series a bit of a different spin... points to Capcom for trying near the end of the SNES' life.

Megaman Soccer (SNES) - ...I liked it. It worked with two players.

Both arcade games - Fun diversions. Nothing more to say but I'd put a quarter in if I ever saw it in the arcade.

Wily Wars (Genesis) - Good remake but the only thing that pisses me off is that I can't figure out how to make it save in any Genesis emulators.

You...didn't just say you liked the music to it.

That music BLEW until World 3. World 1 and World 2 blew.

World 1 and World 2?

I probably like the music because I heard it seventy billion times.

MM1GB = Rockman World 1. Et cetera.

Dude...it was bad...listen to it and 2 on GBS sometime and then compare 3, 4, and 5. Tell me they pale in comparison. 1 and 2 hurt my ears.

I really never played 3/4/5.

And I *really* should get around to 5 since it was the only "unique" GB game they ever did.

Dude! Play 3-5. 4 I really liked because it was my first ever...5 wasn't half bad of a buy off from someone for 10 dollars...and 3 I had on loan from someone for the longest time. All of them had the unique mid-boss/end-boss deal (you know, Punk? Ballade?).

Where the fsck is JD when I need him...I mean he does Super Adventure Quint fer chrissakes...

Quint was MM1, no?

That was actually a really tricky boss since you didn't want to shoot him too much in fear that he'd charge up a HUGE wave to send at you.

Quint was also in the second Game Boy game. It was a pretty fun boss battle, actually.

Quint appeared in Mega Man 2, Rockman & Forte WS, and...Mega Man V, I think. It was especially odd seeing him in R&FWS; he just doesn't really fit.
