Nice. I did something like that with a Game Boy once. GB Camera -> Mega Memory Card -> Gameshark -> Codebreaker -> Game Boy. It didn't boot, probably because MMC and Gameshark are pieces of crap that boot maybe one in 50 attempts.

That's a power base converter, used for playing Master System games on the Genny. Although it doesn't work in a 32x like that.

Also your avatar annoys me. (I always hated that graphic.)

I don't think I've ever seen a "genesis cleaning system."

how exactly does it work? and why would it plug into a SMS converter? =P

The two S&K is interesting, although maybe you should've placed them at different parts of the chain, assuming you did this.

And then your system would go kaboom, right?

(...or you'd end up playing Blue Sphere with any luck.)

I would imagine it just cleans the connectors and pins. I used to have one for the NES.

Blue Spheres with cheat codes!

AAAAAAAA - Turn all red spheres blue.
EEEEEEEE - Invincibility.
EIEIEIOO - Collect one blue sphere to end level.

Probably some BS like that; you'd just need to keep the game running in an infinite loop.

To clerify, no I didn't do this.

Though, has anyone tried playing a game with two S&K's attached? Wonder what would happen ...

Considering anything but sonic 1, 2, or 3 brings up blue spheres (sonic 1 bringing up some sort of special blue spheres, I can't remember but I know it is slightly different.), I'd guess you'd just get more mindless mazes to go through.

No, it was not. It was based on something in the ROM header, if I remember right.

And Setz: Sonic 1 had the only version of Blue Spheres that would go through more than 1 distinct level.

Ah, okay. I knew there was something that set it apart from the rest of the games, but its been so long since I had S&K that I just couldn't remember. Thanks for clearing that up.
