I was just wondering, if anybody else seems to have a short attention span for one particular thing. For me, even though I love video games, I get bored of one particular game rather quickly. This is most noticable on the internet, where there's always the temptation to download something free to try it out. In fact, I just downloaded two.

Anyway, does anyone else have some short attention span thing like that? It's not too annoying, except that I've really only beaten 2 or 3, even though I've played hundreds...

YEAH i feel your pain...or something like that. i'm constantly getting new roms and emulators because i get bored of all the others so quickly. I moves from nes to snes to gba to n64 in a matter of weeks. but i just got into hacking, so that keeps me tied over. Maybe you could look into it, or if you already have, go bigger! reach for the top!.....yeah thats the one

I can focus on games pretty well actually.

I have problems paying attention to someone talking to me verbally. I constantly tune out and daydream.
I also almost can never sit through an entire movie.

I have problems listening to lectures and things like that. For example, my principal gives an introduction assembly every year at the beginning of school. It's over an hour long, talking about the same things every year, and it takes every ounce of my patience to sit through it. But I doubt I'm the only one.
Other than that, I'm usually pretty good about paying attention.

I can also focus on games pretty well. Maybe too well. And I also daydream alot and then realize that people are talking to me.

Listening to lectures is not a big problem, though.

I have a short attention span at school because in just about every class when the teacher is teaching, I just love to daydream about stuff.

Oh, and what Danielle said, I don't like the lectures that my principal says every year, I just ignored him and played my DS with my friends at the beginning of this school year.

I can pay attention unless there is something else going on in my life that needs my attention other than what's going on .

If it's something I find interesting, I have a ridiculously good attention span. I often find it quite easy to keep my attention on something interesting for over four hours, without noticing anything happening in the background.

Even if something's not that interesting, I'm usually able to hold my attention for at least a half hour.

Maybe it was all those hours playing Sim City and Word Rescue as a 3 year old child....

Actually, I find... ooh! Plastic bag!

But seriously. I tend to have a fairly good attention span, but every now and then when I'm doing something boring my mind just wanders and I just sit there thinking about random stuff. Generally, like Xenesis said, I can pay nearly perfect attention if it's interesting enough. Sometimes when I'm programming or some such I actually tune out everything else to the extent that I decide to put some music on, then realize it's already on.
