Apparently the project got the green light, and it has begun production. I don't know about you guys, but this seems a little bit more exciting than the live-action Castlevania that's being made by the Aliens Vs. Predator guy.

I could imagine the people that did Blood: The Last Vampire or Vampire Hunter D should really get in on this. I really want to have a great animated version of this. Gah! There are so many good animation styles that this could be done in But this looks really great, compared to a live-action. | |||

We'll see if this pans out. If it actually gets released it could be really sweet. I hope it gets done well.
I'm more anxious to see the animated Dragonlance film though. I'll be all kinds of pissed if they don't choose a good art style and don't get the voice acting right. Bad voice acting can really kill a movie... like Liam Neeson's Aslan in Narnia. That almost totally killed the movie for me. |
