| Self titled movie, "Epic movie" is indeed epic. Epicly hilarious.
This movie, while a little on the short side (Only 70 minutes) did provide a fair amount of laughter. It was a little bit on the disgusting side sometimes, and it did come close to the R-rating level a few times, however it was nothing extreme or over the top. There were many, MANY references to other movies... (List in spoilers below) Spoiler:
The Davinci code Snakes on a plane Nacho Libre X Men Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory The Chronicles of Narnia Harry Potter James Bond Star Wars Click Pirates of the Carribean Ghost Busters Borat Talladega Knights Lord of the Rings Not necessairly in that order. Overall, a good movie, even if it is cheezy and a wee bit retarded at some points

| I really liked it, had me cracking up! I like stupid funny movies though, this isnt for everyone. Just a simple goofy movie, worth a watch if you just want some silly laughs.
I really liked the Lazy Sunday parody, but what followed had me laughing ALOT more. SO MANY BEEPS!!! |

Pathetic humour. How is this funny? Oh wow, they mixed Narnia with Cribs! How inventive! psh. Pathetic, low brow, childish humour. No sublety at all, and no form of decent writing whatsoever. You know a film is bad when it is not screened for critics, and when it has to make fun of another comedy to be funny (ie. borat). I mean, god. This kind of crap is EXACTLY what is stopping decent comedies and films from being made. I mean, I can just imagine this: (Scene, a Hollywood office) "Studio Owner (on phone): Right, Mr. Pegg, I'm sure I can get you 2,000 theaters for Hot Fuzz in the US. Hold on. *switches lines* What's that, Jerry? You have a script that completely rips off last years big movies in a guise of a parody? Give them all the money we got! It's going to be huge! *switches lines again* Sorry, Simon, something came up. I can't get the theaters for you." Oh, and the reviews for this film are just amazing - http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/epic_movie/ Unoriginal, pathetic, badly written crap.
