I'm not an especially knowledgeable ROM hacker, but I've had some limited experience -- specifically, working with and modifying text (in the older Pokemon games especially). Since text is really something anybody can do, I've been looking around for places where I can learn about slightly more advanced topics. I found my way here in a Google search of Coolboyman (of Pokemon Brown fame), and read through roughly one-eighth of all the threads currently in the Acmlm ROM hacking boards. Seems like a good forum...
