| So I traded in my Xbox 360 at Gamestop and all its games. I got $231.00 worth of store credit. Sounds good, right? I go and buy Starfox DS with said credit, but it sucked royally. That's bad, but it gets so much worse.
I go to Gamestop today with the intention of trading in my DS and getting a DS Lite. I ask the guy to check my card to se how much credit was left. Zero. No credit at all. To say that I'm furious is a fucking understatement. |

| I've seriously stopped going to Gamestop, for the last year or so. This new employee (who I later learned is one of the managers) just completely ruined the store for me, and I just could careless to spend more time driving out to a farther one when I can just go up the street to Best Buy or something.
He's just one of the rudest employee's I've ever seen. I mean, I know people hate their jobs and stuff, and I'm not out there to make friends when I'm just looking for a game or something all the time, but he's one of the most unhelpful workers I've ever seen. He's just worthless. And he's there ALL the time. Because of that, I've just completely lost interest in our local Gamestop store. I'll either go to EB Games or Best Buy these days. |

| Alright, I went there, and they said it was a glitch in the system. Never showed up on their computers, and I returned Star Fox, so I now have back over 200 again. Glee.

| I don't ever go to game stores anymore. Too much shit. If I'm stuck at a store with my mom (rarely ever happens anymore, only when I visit her) I'll go check out the game store and look. That's it. Any game shopping I do, I do it online. I despise shit fuck employees. | |||

Back when I traded in games, I used to do it there because they had a deal where you get 10% more money from trading in used games if you had a MVP card. I don't know if they even still do that anymore. I don't trade games anymore because I'll end up regretting it. Plus, my MVP card expired in June of last year and I'm too lazy to renew it. |

| Shame you didn't trade in the XB360 system about a week or so ago...the trade-in value of the system went down. This is b/c the actual price of the 360 will be going down soon.
Make sure you keep you receipt, just in case they couldn't get your credit back. If you keep the receipt, they can call help desk and get the credit information for you. |

| The guys at my gamestop are amazing. They don't complain about what you are buying. If they know someone's buying a crappy game they don't outright say it sucks but they ask they if they are entirely sure that they wanted to buy it. I remember them doing that when I went and bought Sonic Heroes. If you ask what they think about a game they will speak their mind though. | |||

| Yeah, the Gamestops here aren't too bad. The people there do sometimes comment when a customer's buying a game that's generally disliked, but even when they do it's only one remark and they're done. I didn't even get into an argument when I traded in Twilight Princess, surprisingly... (and let's save that for another topic, please.)

| My only complaint about GameStop is that you can't trade in Action Replays and cheating stuff like that.
For some reason, the people who work at EB Games remember me. I only go there about once a month, giving them plenty of time to forget.  |

| I stopped going to the game store when Gamestop took over Funcoland. They suck. They destroyed everything Funcoland stood for. Most game stores are them or EBgames now.
On the other hand, I just picked up a Wii at Best Buy... which, coincidentally, had more of them than Gamestop. Guess where I shop now? |
