OOC: Jeez... Schwa's tactics have rubbed off on me... so c'mon, let's battle...

Ghostly blue plasma in the fomr of a whip snapped and wrapped itself around its foe, the ghost plasma melting right through the Plutonic/Uranium melded armor plating of the Gigarachnus. The Gigarachnus is a far-away relative to the native creature Arachnus from Planet SR388. He had alot of trouble trying to locate this creature but it was causing a major ruckus with the underground hives of a group of wasp-like aliens of this planet knonw as Vespula. Vespula are insectoids, large abdomen, four thin arms and large sword-sharp wings with the head of a wasp, and the pincers of a Earth beetle. Their large stinger which is as thick as metal below their lower abdomen holds most of their vital organs, but when snapped offf their organs and fluids bleed out, known as Vespula Suicide.

But back to the Gigarachnus... the creature itself looked like a armadillo, only with an alien apperance to the Earth versions, but much more bizzare than the Arachnus. While it's apperance was similar to the Arachnus, its body was covered in a tough mix off Plutonic and Uranium exoskeleton armor, and along its back was a wild mane of neon green fur which also held a luminescent glow, along with its two eyes on its oblong shaped head, which were more similar to that of the dreaded Metroid Queen in terms of its hideous shaped mouth. And like the Metroid Queen, it could snap its neck outward up to a length of seventeen meters.

Sekai, bounty hunter extrodinair, was fighting this blasted monster at a distance. Most of his ranged projectile attacks had no effect, as he rolled to avoid another deadly assault of greenish blue fireballs. Of course, with two years training, he's developed most of his abilities, as a few of his old abilities were replaced with newer stronger magic. He also wield Darkness magic within himself as well, but only because he had to undergo a peroid of intense battles with a dark army in the Trigon section neighboring the Zeta section (formally famous for being Mother Brain's life-devoided planets, and the ruins of once was known as Planet Zebes). He would use darkness once and awhile, but using darkness affects his strength later on and thus is highly limited when darkness plays a key element. The army he had defeated singlehandedly, used pure dark forces to overwhelm their foes, and Sekai had to fight darkness with darkness.

With one final whip of his ghostly plasma flame, the monster attemtped to dive towards him, but because of the burning effect of the Wisp Whip and its armor melted after so many hits sliced right through like paper, ending the creature's life. The flame faded, as he walked away from the battlefield. With generosity from the natives he had saved, he was once again on his way.

o o o

With nothing else to do, he made a visit to the planet known as Big Blue, and descended down into its city. The brisk warm air of the water planet was a welcome to his senses, his ship docked at the spaceport-landing zone.

"Hmm... the last time I was here, I was en-route to locate a bounty that held a dangerous new substance known as Blackdie."

He walked out and was on his way down to the streets of Neptune. It was the largest of the resort cities on Big Blue, and seemed to have a field of towering reflective skyscrapers. They were in various shapes. Some looked like lightning bolts and some like hourglasses. Palm trees lined the streets as countless antigravity cars with convertible tops passed by. It was famous for tourists from around the galaxy. Half the city was a chain of intergalactic resort casinos and hotels, other half tourist resorts. Buildings here and there sometimes were connected via walkways, and slanted elevators. What is the odds of running into any hostile enemies here? Even if Space Pirates launched an attack at the Federation Building located here in the city on this planet, with the Marine Army Division 36 on station here, it would be suicide to even start a senseless fight here.

"..." He pulled up a laptop and typed into the computers, brining up a list of bounty profiles, before one caught his attention: Zekt. It was the biroid he battled against before a long time ago, a few stellar months after the KiHunter events, "So they used the research I conducted long ago and decide to make a bounty out of him?"

He closed the laptop, folded it up and slid it into his pocket of his coat before heading towards The Serpent Reef Hotel. He knew not many people would go after Zekt's bounty, because his head is at a low amount of 3,000 credits. But still... even with a high rank of credits in his Galactic Bank account after preventing a dark army from destroying the Milkyway Galaxy, it would be fun to see what the machine was up too... after some needed rest.

(...)

Wind blew through the odd plain, as a sand-infested desert approached it slowly. No matter how much the wind blew back, the sand continued to head forward, continuously, as if in a march. What it seemed to be searching for was unknown.

However... soon, several signals began flowing from it. Energy bursts flew towards the sky, raising the sand with it... but everytime the sand rose, it did not fall, but merely stand there, forming a column. The sand continued to shoot, upwards and upwards, before stopping, eventually.

A large, physical arena was formed there, in the shape of a colosseum. Standing tall, it was quite imponent, having consumed all of the sand in the desert to take its shape. There were even seatings around the main arena.

Still... it lacked a contestant.

And so, a signal was sent, throughout the galaxy, all the way to Sekai's ship...

After a week's rest and winning 15,000 credits from the Red Dragons Casino, he was en-route towards Terra. Terra was in ways similar to Earth, but it was a war ridden planet. His ship still was the same dragon based design in terms of sleekness and aerodynamic designs, but it was riddled with latest upgrades and better hyper-space engines, with two back-up engines that double as generators. Of course, the interior would be strange for one thing, as it is similar to a regular Earth home such as the floors lined with carpet except the front area which is ceramic tile, same with the entrance hatch area. In the back quarters of the cockpit was a bolted down couch which doubles as a fold-out bed where he rests when he's idly floating through space, and the other side of the large cockpit a small kitchen area, the tables and chairs bolted down to the floor, and the refridgerator and freezer, and its cabinates magnetically bolted shut incase the ship goes through hostile enemy fire or like does loops or the sorts.

The ship had alerted Sekai of his approach to the planet, as the ship exited from hyper-space, and engaged its cloaking device. The city he was to before is advanced, but it is still some centuries behind today. Finding an area not inhabited by any machine-hosting cities, he landed out at a portion of the large Twilight Desert. Still in cloaking mode, he scanned the surrounding twenty miles of the desert to ensure that there wern't any hostile enemies, or Space Pirates for that matter. Then afterwards, with a holo-map on the sleek visor shades of his he placed on, he decided to just go explore the desert.

His attire hasn't changed much since before, but he's traded in his metal gloves which were damaged from the one-man army fight of his with leather brown gloves of medieval times, which cannot be damaged by any form of wear and tear of anything, a chronological built clock with universal detail and translator, wireless network uplink to his ship with a single command, ect in a single sports watch. He wasn't here for the bounty, he was just bored, and too bored to cheat Ridley out of his money via Galactic Poker.

His senses are still as sharp as ever, as if his visor shades do not alert him, his heightened senses will. Speaking of the fiery dragon now good, he wondered to his own dragonoid... Kristi... the girl he lost to the Space Pirates years ago...

The desert, whatever his scans had indicated, had somehow up and disappeared.

The only thing in that direction was the colosseum ahead... and there were no lifeform detections, either.

On the other hand... it still emitted the calling signal...

OOC; Just show up already...

The man treks through the desert, before finally he picked up a signal. A small collection of spiritual energy collected at the tips of his index and middle fingers, as he sprinted forth towards it.

"C'mon... if you're supposed to be smart you'd have already shown your face already and begun you childish taunts..." This is what boredom can do... without any good bounties up for grabs Sekai is officialy bored.

As Sekai entered the colosseum, he'd notice Zekt, standing in the center, a grin in his face... but something looked odd; wouldn't Zekt appear from behind him, usually, before a taunt. But he was just... standing there.

Not to mention, his armor was also looking oddly brownish, almost as if...

*CLANG*

*CLANG*

*CLANG*

The large gates of the arena closed, all of a sudden; if he looked behind, he'd see they were now large and thick doors. The wind began picking up, and it was likely he'd realize, now, it was a trap... but before he could do a thing, the colosseum's ceiling shut on top of him, forming a neat blockade.

"Sabaku Sousou," said a quiet voice, before the sands around him rose, as if going to force him all the way to the ceiling.

(OoC: I can't use Zekt anymore.)

OOC: God... soo frigging busy with college.

His spirit energy generated to a fiery hot element, as he unleashed his Blazing Fury technique, which will spread out to across every square inch of the ground, as well as render the sand into glass, and almost immediatly he struck out with Oakwood Prison, large thick grass forming under his enemy, and then trapping him in a solid bombardment of solid unbreakable wood.

No sound after the attack struck, forming a cage of glass surrounding Sekai. The attack struck Zekt, grabbing him roughly...

...and turning him into a bunch of sand.

Before he could think on that, however, he'd have to concern himself more with the fact that his glass cage was just thrown towards a wall... and at the speed he was going, he'd likely collide against the glass upon contact!

If he looked around, he'd see a sand thing from the direction that pushed him.

(OoC: Yes, Sekai DID turn the entirety of the sand on the ground and immediately surrounding him into glass, but it'll be explained on my next post.)

OOC; Since you had declared your charrie was hit by Blazing Fury, the attack also inflicted Berserk status -- opponent's attack strength doubles, but attacks everyone and everything friend or foe.

The glass cracked before shattering into splinters, as the thirty-year old bounty hunter raced out curled up into a ball, his entire form blazing with electricity. The name of this new technique is called the Screw Roll. It mimics the properties of the Morph Ball, Boost Ball, and Screw Attack.

He quickly turned on his attack, heading towards his opponent. He bounced high into the air and uncurled, as light generated behind his back before forming into large angelic wings of light (Wings of Starlight).

Sekai's strategy was very good, yes. Draw out his foe, force him into a Berserker state, and then kick his butt...

Indeed, it was great.

There was only one problem - there was nobody around.

At least, not in any locations he could quickly detect, but still...

*CRASH*

Well, maybe he ought to worry about the entirety of the glass shattering and flying straight at him.

However... a faint signal was detected shortly after, coming from underneath the sand, that was flowing back down.

"Suna Shuriken."

If he stared behind him, he'd see a sand column turn into a flying projectile, headed straight at him.

Whatever happened afterwards, another column of sand rose, and from it, a creature seemed to stand perfectly still...

OOC: Read my profile for Sekai for more information...

The shuriken did shit, for once it struck Sekai, or rather the Spiritual Barrier he conjured, was sent flying right back.

But his opponent wouldnt' have to worry about his deflected attack, since the ground below him had split apart "swallowing" him up before the two halves slammed back to nail a crushing blow, with Earth Bite.

"Who the fuck is that...?" He summoned his Chozo Staff, with the wooden beak split open, a ball of blue energy slowly developing inside the staff's beak.

(OoC: Can't, the Profiles page never loads. Also, you asked for it.)

The Earth Bite never happened... in fact, as soon as the energy was set for the move, Sekai took the exact same damage he'd have dealt to his foe.

(OoC: Earth Counter: Earth-type moves will not work at all, and instead, the opponent takes the recoil automatically.)

"My name is Morpheus. You are the Hunter who are seeking Zekt. Normally I would suggest you surrender before you are defeated, but thanks to your odd abilities, I shall rephrase it. Please surrender now, before I kill you," he said in a scarily calm tone. No matter what Sekai usually felt, it brought an aura of distress to him...

"Also, your barrier is not going to last much longer."

"So, you know the machine who has a bounty on his head for a measily low 3,000 credits?" he asked in a rather sarcastic tone, hearing the so-called idle threat from this Morpheus (No auto-hits, even if they are counters and if you say antyhing about the earlier Oakwood Prison, it is a trap technique), "Please forgive me for looking what I am but I would never go after a bounty who has such a low amount of credits. In fact, I was only here to merely embarrase him in another fight like I did the last time I encountered the droid."

He chuckled lightly, brushing off the other threats like they were nothing. "Please... don't kid yourself. The Lord of Chaos said the exact same thing before I single-handedly decimated his entire dark army, and destroyed him.

(OoC: ...if your move had a trap effect, same counts for mine.)

"Failed overlords from the past are never a good example for the future," Morpheus said simply, even as odd symbols began forming at the sand around them.

"As for Zekt, he is rather unavailable at the moment, as the destruction of the True Darkness resulted in every single trace of him we had disappear from the face of the universe. Considering your previous belief of him being akin to a demon, I am surprised by your lack of observation on him.

"Finally... Seal Spirit." The symbols all shone, before a bright light flashed all over the arena.

(OoC: Seal Spirit: A sudden influx of the combined elements of the universe forms a mystic drain; any moves that require an excessive manipulation of spiritual energy, including summoning, are automatically failed, only draining the affected more and more. Counts as a Storyline Action (the kind that is, essentially, part of the plot).)

"Sabaku Sousou," he repeated, before the sands tried to cover Sekai once more.

OOC: Overkill, and that will not work.

Celestrial Charm, a technique of his listed ten of holy abilities simply cancled those effects his opponent attempted to conjure forth.

"... is that all?" he asked in a sarcastic manner, "Most spells of that nature hardly work against me anymore... not after against Dyoxxes (Di-hox-sis) on Planet Zenmila..." Lest he forgotten the Chozo Staff of his, the wooden beam which had a ball of blue energy within fired a bolt of blue lightning, which was really a beam of ice; Ice Javelin.

He still has his defensive Spirit Barrier surrounding him, though in a visual sense it does not look like it, his wisdom infused wooden staff, and the Wings of Starlight.

(OoC: ...what are you considering Overkill now?)

"Fool."

The Ice Javelin was intercepted by a hand of sand, which froze in place... and then, shattered the ice, becoming sand once more.

"Are you that afraid of being harmed, that it means you will never allow your guard down, for any situation?" Morpheus asked, even as the sands seemed to increase, in that place.

"Existence... that is merely a mirage. Reality may be a dream we cannot awake from... or dreams may be our true reality. So many questions, so few answers... and yet, there are those who believe their dreams of existing are more real than their own pathetic existences. I suppose you are one of these...

"Life. Death. Light. Darkness. Order. Chaos. Neutrality... the balance of everything. Not many can do such... but I can. And you shall pay with your life for desiring that I do such."

With that, Morpheus closed his eyes, the sands covering and protecting him again... before a sandstorm seemed to flow, throughout the arena, the sands forming a typhoon of sorts around them, and yet, they weren't striking his orb severely.

...however, the more the sands raged, the more his spiritual energy was drained...

(OoC: Drain: Special effect. When Morpheus decides to put himself to sleep, his sands devour all the non-physical energy around him.)

(Side-note: If he summons her, it'll count as an NPC action.)

Once more, Celestrial Charm neutralized the drainage ability, as his barrier was pounded against the raging sands, actualy holding up despite what they could do, those that reach him from where he was in the air. And the hand made of sand frozen in place, it will transform back into sand in a few minutes (your next round to attack).

"You sound just like him right now. Deja vu... Chaos told me that exact same thing, the life, death, darkness, order, chaos, neutrality balance of everything shit, and that many can never do such a thing in their lifetime but him... you're not a survivor of the Dark Army are you!?"

Now Morpheus can detect an anger boiling within Sekai's soul, as the Chozo Staff returned to it sub-space pocket and he held out his right hand, palm open and in the position like he was holding something. It didn't like like much, but then there was a flicker of light inside his hand. before a small blue flame appeared. And then, it burst into a ball of ghostly blue flames, and for a moment, Morpheus could of sworn the fireball had an eye which blinked at him. It poured out into a long ghostly firey whip, which he tightly grasped: the Wisp Whip.

"May the angels of heaven place mercy within your soul and your spirit... one with such powers that may very well threaten the entire universe... and I am it's warrior, the protector of innocent life, destroyer of evil..." His eyes narrowed into a cold stare straight towards Morph, "Forgive for what I must do, but one with such dangerous powers must be subdued... and purifyed if your soul can be saved from a life of torment and rotting destruction."

OOC: You must be wondering about the dialouge, well if you are smart and have read Sekai's profile I PMed to you, in the Extra Information section, you would of noticed the ability known as Divine Wrath, which I have not listed as a Desperation Attack... now I am sure you're smart so try and figure it out what I ment by "subdued and purifyed".

(OoC: If you are trying to make it so Morpheus, Proebetus, and Phantasus are a part of your plot, stop NOW. I do not appreciate it, did not allow it, and would rather you stop doing that. We already went through that whole debacle with Zekt and RX - do you really want to lose your character already?)

"Purify me?" he seemed to whisper. "You cannot purify what is merely a dream."

If Sekai attacked, the Divine Wrath would have found itself without a target... for Morpheus was no target to it; instead, the only target there was was nothingness itself. Even if Sekai tried to aim straight at the sand-covered body, he'd find his aim going off, as if he could not be struck.

"I lie in the realms of dreams and reality. I am never certain whether I am asleep or awake. If I believe I am awake, I may be dreaming; if I believe I sleep, I may not dream. This existence is such that the pure balance inside me is a constant purificator, so that I am never on the side of any but Neutrality itself. It is only part of my other nature that forces me to stay alongside those I may believe I care for."

He took a deep sigh. "I have no soul. I have no spirit. I merely am, and that is my task. Your task is a lie to yourself, as you are consumed by your own pride and desire for mundane things. Even pure peace you may wish is mundane.

"Attempt to strike me, and you will certainly fail. Not that you will have time to do so... If I am allowed, I would like to return to my sleep now," he muttered the last part, as he began entering a deep sleep.

Then, the ENTIRETY of the desert became a huge tanuki-shaped creature, solidifying and becoming rigid. And, to Sekai's surprise, the sand went right through his barrier, trapping him into the sand creature.

(OoC: Dream Law is now under effect. As an effect, EVERY ability you have that is not made of physical energy (read: actual matter, unlike mystical or otherwise non-physical energy) loses its effect. And before you snap back, remember that you are the one who has constantly been complaining this time, while I have been taking it all. Take it or admit defeat. No alternatives.)

OOC: Forgive but I AM in class... college that is, and yes the semester has begun again, rather it started yesterday. And you wouldn't have to worry about the "Soul of a Lost Love" spell, like I have three phases of no interruption... and why assume I wanna bother putting you in a plot? Oh, Becky is still angry about you calling me a bastard and stuff a few weeks ago. And I'm assuming you wanna kill Sekai, so unless you are not going ot kill him, too bad because you have been pushing past boundries that I have looked away from the few points.

"... Now I recongnize your skills of sand conjuring. That was the result of Blackdie, or its chemical name Zonagen when Tanner made his escape back to the Sandtrap Planet to avoid Samus, Houston, and I, and fell into the killer black sand after his canister exploded on him... I could still hear the screams... when his body was mutilated by the sand's deadly oxygen absorbing sand, his flesh and blood literaly eaten away faster than acid, and the Zonagen material mutated what was left of his skeleton into a deadly monster.

"... we had no choice but to kill him before he could of killed us..." He looked at him, as he used Sealing Star of Power, sealing off all his magic and leaving him with nothing but the Mythrill Buster, and his own non-magical melee techniques.

His boots crackled, as the Speed Booster kicked in, and he swiftly zoomed out of the arena despite Morph trying to contain his prey and wanting to kill. And of course, Speed Booster can easily slaughter Morph, but he's giving the droid the benefit of the doubt. Sure, Morph could very well follow Sekai since he is very similar to Tanner after the Zonagen mutation (but without the single-minded "murder and destroy" though running constantly through his mind)... but still trapping and then wanting to kill proves to Sekai that whatever Morpheus claims he is or what he claims he does just says, "I'm evil so I'll kill you."

He wasn't heading to his ship, since he had commanded his ship to go into cloaked orbit, no... he was speedily traveling towards Neo Arcadia. All the while the Sealing Star of Power still in absolute effect, meaning any jinxes, curses, or effects Morph conjures forth will have no effect on Sekai who's magic was sealed off from all known traces of detection regardless.

(OoC: Then WHY do you keep referring to him like he was, indeed, part of whatever happened? Jeez, I am finding it extremely hard to believe that your so-called 'original' character wasn't thought up on the spot by the moment. As for the other accusations, not only I was beyond pissed off that day, to the point where I ended up insulting you, but you were, simply put, being more of a jerk than me.)

If Morpheus was not asleep, he would have possibly replied, due to the Berserk effect. However, as he was asleep and currently inside the Dream Realm, he could not properly respond as Sekai may have wished.

However, the fact still was that the Sealing Star of Power failed, given how it was not truly magic... but merely a different type of technology, advanced enough to maybe replicate, but not take place, of magic.

As for the Speed Buster... it was a pity that not only did he have to move to be able to charge it at all, but once it took the Tanuki form (with him INSIDE it, considering the colosseum was the equivalent of the middle), the sand solidified enough that, unless he used something like a continuous laser beam the size of his body for a total of five minutes before he could move, it would not work. Nor would a Power Bomb, due to the fact that the sand was continuously focused in trapping Sekai, and even if he managed to pull it off, it'd still try to grab him.

But, as said, he first had to move.

...

"Purify," a quiet, feminine voice said, as a surge of energy flowed through the sand. While nothing seemed to affect him, he could feel the sand shifting around, still solid, but not like before.

If he tried his best, increasing the volume as much as possible, he'd maybe notice some other words, but it made no sense.

But then, suddenly, he was spat out of the Tanuki, and sent flying away to nothingness.

(Sidenotes: Neo Arcadia is no more, Area Zero changed name, and Morpheus IS Berserk, despite his weird attitude. What do you consider an emotionless guy in berserk state, anyway?)
