I'm doing NOTHING right now and it kinda upsets me. I'm waiting on one thing to start up which will require my assistance but other than that... I need to do something tomorrow. I feel left out.

Cool. I think I may be using the doomship sequence(as it rises) in one of the Trunxy, Melvin, Ziff Flash Episodes...

In the meantime, here's sprites of Trunxy, Melvin, and Ziff, respectively:

I'm working on my writing again. I'm 10 pages into a short story. I've also started on my first full length manuscript. The short story should be done soon and I'll be tossing it to a lit. mag. along with some of my soft-sci-fi shit that I've finished up. I recently burned my first attempt at a full length novel, I got about 120 pages into it, but really hated the direction I took and would rather just forget the whole endeavour.

Also, school assignments
1. 25 page report on SALTI
2. 10 page essay on pro-war sentiments in intellectual circles prior to the Great War
3. A 15 page follow up on the report to SALTI
4. A 20 page paper on any post 1930 topic.

Work:

Anything with "126" in the name is due for this week's paper. Deadline's today, except there's a couple I'm holding because they involve games on Tuesday. In addition, trying to get all the bulletins and such in order so I can have all the recreational contacts on le comp.

Non-work:
* Selling off the games I don't need for my collection, along with other stuff on eBay.
* Getting caught up on my finances, so I can...
* Move out before my birthday. Shooting for next month.

I have a monstrous creation brewing.

This has been started already. This blueprint is not exact, but only gives the placements for each aspect of the unit. Each color corresponds to certain systems. Currently Selected is the GameCube. Blue is for Wii, Green is for N64, Red is for NES, and Yellow is for SNES. There will be LEDs spread throughout the box the same color that corresponds to the system that is on. The Wii has not made the GameCube completely useless, because it still has its Ethernet Port and Game Boy Player. It will also be assumed that certain GameCube games may not work correctly on the Wii. Note that the Component Audio Ports on the back; one of them is yellow instead of red... This is to prevent confusion between the Red Video signal cable. I will be using SCSI ribbon cables to liberate the slots from their motherboards.

Please help me to note any discrepancies.

Possible Problems

1) The Wii Sensor Bar will go directly into the back of the unit and plug into the Wii if the IR LEDs I am planning to put in do not work out. Placement of this giant unit would become critical if internal IR LEDs are to be used.

2) How to internally wire the video signals. I'll probably think of something.

Things to Decide

1) I may add an LCD panel where I am currently using to display the rear panel. This has not been decided yet.

2) I may or may not add a DVD player. This is stupid.

3) Video toggle switches may be done away with, depending on how I wire them.

4) Whether the acrylic casing is to be left 100% transparent or whether a 25% or so opacity is to be applied is under thought as well. Perhaps a combination of the two. Placement of the LEDs will probably determine that.

Me and drag are working on a LCD pinball game for the pdrom's competition. I'm on grahpics. Platform is GP2X (also will see a PC release), coded with C++ and SDL IIRC.

It's not done yet

I've also got a few other "secret" projects, which are only secret because they may never even be started, and chances are will never be finished/updated. Website updates->"game of the moment", various tutorials, maybe a comic. Oh, and actually finishing the damned thing.

I'm working on Levels for Super Mario World, just have to get some good ideas... or just try to understand my notes.

Else I'm studying how to drive a train and everything around that.

I may unbury my plans to create a pinball table in Virtual Pinball, got some new ideas today (Say hello to a railroad themed pinball with Metroid Prime and Pokémon Pinball elements).

I looked for a bit inside Sudoku Gridmaster finding a way to change the puzzles. Didn't go very far, and don't hold your breath for me to find the other map of numbers.

Coding in Notepad, eww.

I need to reinstall VB6 at some point; supposedly I'm going to be writing some software for work. Except I don't have enough HD space free.

What I do when bored. (Around 23 Megabyte!)

GIF file as I didn't have a video batch utility handy. And it's only five frames per second, but the program I made can take 30 frames per second if it's needed, and save them. I should try making a 15 frame per second one...

Only started playing around, as there were a track of "Camtasia" clones.

15 frames per second test...

Well it's not super geek computer stuff. I'm constantly working on music though.

If you take a look at my signature you'll see two links, one is my band (The Elithic) and one is my solo stuff (RainaBee)... My band actually is going to get sponsored by SamAsh when we finish recording our album. It'll probably be done by April.. [= woo.

I guess that's considered a project. It is alot of hard work. It qualifies.

Last year, I started prattling about my home improvement plans. Tangible progress has finally been made.

This is what we got after ripping out the crappy homebaked shelves and cabinets from the previous owner.

Then we had drywall installed, and the living room was just painted yesterday. I got up early to meet the painters and came home from work to A+++ WOULD BUY AGAIN. The color is a pale Delft blue with an eggshell finish (read: has a subtle sheen), which may be difficult to see in the picture. It looks nearly white in early morning light and more obviously blue at night. I fricking love it. The walls used to be shiny plain white. The fresh coat of paint looks so much better.

Yeah, we have an unfortunate '60s fireplace. It will eventually be fixed up, but I want to get the floor renovation out of the way first. That pink carpet is wall to wall over the entire first floor, and I can't wait to get it replaced with hardwood. It'll cost a buttload, but it will add value to the house because we're buying good stuff and having it professionally installed.

Hopefully we'll get the new curtain hardware and curtains up this weekend. More pictures will certainly follow.
