If my PsP didn't already collect dust, here's another reason. Phoenix Wright: Justice For All will most likely be as good as its predecessor, well, at least I hope it'll be. I'm only in the beginning, but I am happy with it so far.

Well darn it Anya, I was gonna make this thread...

I love it so far. Got it on preorder at EB, complete with the special stylus, handstrap, and screen cleaner that the preorder kiddies get. All I really wanted was the strap, but the rest is a nice deal anyway. I'm impressed with some parts of the new soundtrack, but other parts leave me very much longing for the original.

I always enjoyed the music of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney the most, as it really helped me get into the game. I felt the pressure and the cooling sense of power that wells inside you when you finally corner a suspect, and the music only amplified that feeling. It's a shame that it was so altered for the second game in the series.

However, having only played through the entire first case, I know I have a long way to go with this game, especially if the effort required to solve it is any indication as to what I'm in for...

From what I've heard, it's a good game, but it isn't nearly as good as the first one. In fact, the second game in the series is probably the worst of the three (not counting the unreleased fourth title), although that doesn't mean it's terrible. The last case is pretty damn good, though.

Also, no need to neglect your PSP like that. It now has a good amount of good games available for it, with more coming out later.

I just got the game, and have just finished the second case. It's great so far, definitely a worthy successor to the original... oddly enough, it wasn't being displayed at my local EB Games, I had to ask for it specifically.

Does anyone know if the third one is going to come to the US? I've heard that that one is the best of the series, and is the conclusion of the "Phoenix Wright" storyline...

Considering the massive success it seems to have amassed here, I'd definitely guess so.

Second case. Curse von Karma.

Also the only thing I don't really care for is that you can't make the text go any faster, even when you have read it before. It just irks me so much.

This game has as much oogley goodness as the first game, and the translations pretty damn good, especially the YTMND references and such. I love region-free duel language DS games!!!

Also DS flash carts!

When going through text you've already seen, you can tap the screen (or press a button) to have all text in that box immediately displayed. Then you can press it again to go to the next. If you want to skip past things, just tap it a lot.

I never did get why Nintendo uses region lockouts on their consoles but not on their handhelds.
