It has been a while since William has ached for battle. Everytime he wanted to start a battle, it seemed as though he... lost interest. When getting into battles, he ran off right at the beginning to take care of other stuff, usually more entertaining at the time, which ended up being StepMania mostly...

Yet, now it seemed that he wanted to come back. Maybe it was with the recent event his younger friend Melo said to him that made him realize that his life was... pretty boring as is. It just took a few months for it to sink in, he figured.

William called up Rixe and Spikeo. He hasn't talked to them in a while, so he had no idea what they were up to. Rixe turned out to own his own arcade and Spikeo, on the other hand, was busy with being a mercenary for the good guys, apparently.

Both were busy at the moment, but they were all cheerful when they heard that William wanted to return to fighting. They would be on their way as soon as possible to return to being a devestating trio once again.

William stepped into the Sim-Battle Arena, donned in a white shirt with a fake dance pad depicting three different styles of arrows that resembled DDR, ITG, and PIU combined, headphones on his neck with an MP3 player attached to his belt, and black jeans. He was finally back. This time, to stay active.

He quickly took the north side of the arena and stood there. Hopefully, soon enough, someone would show up in front of him and want to fight.

"Ah, so many memories... let's see if I can actually build more of them this time." William held his hand forward and magically his sword, the Black Thorn, appeared in a flash. His trusty boomerang guns also appeared on his belt.
He was ready for a wonderful return.

The first step is always to observe your opposition. Watch them until you find a weakness, and then watch a little more. After watching for a while, it was imperative that you learn when to strike for maximum effect. You only get one preemptive strike, after that your opposition will know you are there and any idea of ending a battle quickly fades.

Finding the key moment is, again, crucial. Doe was confident that the key moment was now and fired his/her gun. The Mark IV Fire Sniper Cannon Bullet exploded out of the end of the barrel of a rather long sniper rifle. As it touched the air, it instantly burst into flames. It had a while to go though. Doe was in the city surrounding the Sim-Battle Arena, on a building that was high enough to give a direct line into the arena. It wasn't an ideal sniping spot as it would be hard to get down quick enough to get to another sniping spot, but it was all that was around.

The fire ball would be seen easily if the target paid attention. It would even give time for the target to move out of the way if they tried. Doe was aware of this flaw and instantly began taking the gun apart and sliding different add-ons back into his/her gray custom army trench coat. Leaving a few of the add-ons to the customized gun, it now looked like a long pistol, a very easy to use combat weapon that excelled in medium range.

Doe realized that this had taken a couple of seconds and that the target may have figured out where he/she was. So Doe hurried down the stairs and into the lobby of the building, keeping his/her guard up.

William looked to the left and right a bit and noticed nobody yet to battle him.

Upon turning fully around though, he caught glimpse of a projectile heading towards him, not knowing what it was until he fixed his head to see it clearly. He jumped back instinctively as the shot passed right in front of him. He lowered an eyebrow and looked in the direction the shot came from. It seemed very far from where he was standing.

"So, this is going to be a projectile fight, huh? Great..."

William put his sword in the ground and pressed play on his MP3 player. KaW's Indulgence began playing loudly from the headphones. He grabbed hold of his two boomerang guns, tossed them slightly in the air, grabbed them and then slammed them together on the sides. Two scanners slid from each gun to the top to form a dual-layered scanner that detected movement and heat. He quickly looked at the top of the building to see if he could see anything without zoom. William zoomed them in twice to see a clear view of the building, yet saw nothing. He scanned down the height and found minor movement throughout, possibly rodents or pests.

He figured maybe that whoever shot would come closer for a change. He unlinked the guns and holstered them. He changed the song to Summer and awaited for his foe to show up, if at all, while constantly looking around in case of new attacks were headed his way.

Doe waited a few minutes to see if there was any retaliation. There was none. Adapting to the unexpected situation, Doe walked outside and pointed his/her gun at a nearby oil truck. The driver was smart enough to know that the truck wasn't worth his life. He slowly got out of the truck while leaving the keys in the ignition. Doe took a step into the truck, made a few adjustments and floored it, sending the truck forward.

Doe drove through the city, heading straight towards the Sim-Battle Arena. As the mercenary got closer, she/he bailed and rolled, the truck kept going, breaking into the arena. With a quick shot from Doe's gun, the oil tank on the back exploded, sending shrapnel everywhere.

Nobody came.

Disappointed, he began to head out when he saw a truck breaking into the arena. It didn't seem like an ordinary truck, though. It was one of those trucks that always exploded in movies and such.

"...oh no."

He slammed his sword into the ground and ducked behind it as best as he could as the truck exploded.

After the explosion ceased, William's left arm had scratches and shrapnel in it for if he needed an arm he'd need his right, and considering that the sword wasn't that wide, he'd rather have an arm damaged than his face or back. Blackened on the front and backside, he stood above the sword holding his left arm in pain. The eyebrows on his head lowered and he looked towards the break-in point, frustrated at the fact that he couldn't get one shot at his foe as William did not even know who he was fighting.

"Alright, you have hidden yourself long enough. How about showing yourself now!?"

Doe: "Perhaps you should look harder."

Doe was in one of the seats on the upper levels of the Sim-Battle Arena, staring down at William. With a calm movement, she/he raised his/her gun and fired. A ball of lightning emitted from the gun, creating lightning arcs from multiple feet away from a surface. The lightning bullet was heading straight for William as Doe reloaded the gun with a second bullet and dashed out of the way, preparing to shoot William with a regular bullet while he was distracted.

William quickly jumped back to dodge the projectile, which flew in front and barely missing him.

Wasting no time for another attack to be brought on him, he quickly pulled out a boomerang gun and shot forward towards the moving competitor. The boomerang spun around as it began to cross the path of the foe.

To keep from getting hit, he decided it was best to move constantly to make it hard to hit. He grabbed his sword with his right hand and darted towards the opposite side of the arena while making sure he didn't get closer to his foe for a point blank shot.

Doe changed direction, seeing the projectile was meant to obstruct his/her path and force him/her to waste time. This wasn't the case as Doe shot the projectile, reloaded and charged down the stadium stairs, on a b-line towards William. A familiar raising of the arm and pulling of the finger shot another bullet at William, for a second Doe reminisce about the details of why they were fighting.

William didn't know anything, but this was a sort of welcome back planned and executed by an old source. Doe could only guess it was for nostalgic purposes as the fight served no one. The client had commanded Doe to only make William submit or run when the fight looked bleak and a killing would be branded with murder.

Such an odd circumstance for such a fight, but all that mattered to Doe was the high reward for this job. Quickly refocusing on the fight, Doe changed the gun as he/she got in close range, taking the rifle barrel off, Doe replaced it with another, wider, barrel and loaded a bigger bullet into the chamber.
