| Return X looked at the baby's crib, with a sick disturbing grin plastered on his lips.
"Hey! Don't you dare hurt her!" RX looked up and saw, "Oh, David... how rude of me. Forgive me." "Bullshit... you're pure evil..." "Now now, remember what I told you about me being out of your life once your child was born?" He walked up to the human and sneered, running his clawed fingers along his chest in a yaoi-ish manner, before sinking his claws into his chest. David grunted in minor pain and discomfort before feeling something within him break, and then a green trail of whisping energy was fully absorbed into RX, "I've held on my word... now we are no longer inter-connected anymore. But... if you ever tell anyone of my existance, and I'll kill your daughter." Return X cackled as he turned into green mist and faded away, his soul seeping into the computer screen and vanishing. David just sank to his knees before the baby started crying. He crawled over, got up and picked her up, calming her down. "It's alright sweetheart, shh shh shh..." o o o "So, this is the Gate..." He looked up at the massive frame, now bare and empty. The area was pitch black, but he could see fine. He looked around, and saw the discarded orbs of the seven Heavenly Virtue Programs, and absorbed them one by one. "Yes... the keys' powers have become mine..." While he had absorbed their powers, the orbs themselves remained where they were, locked and sealed in their key holes on the massive wheel on the black ground. Without another word, he cut open a Fossa Ambience and walked through, now in Area Zero of the Zero-verse. Return X sneered, looking down at the humans who have made their home here in this forestry area, the only area of mass green areas on this desert ridden world. His sneer turned into a dark snarl, before a few chuckles escaped from his throat. "Time to seek out my revenge!" He cackled wildly before his transformation quickly begun, and shortly ended. He was now a large knight covered in thick metal armor with chain mail at the joints and mythril clothing was worn underneath it. A pair of insane looking eyes peered out from behind the visor of the helmet, which was adorned with two large horns. K. Return X was also equipped with various handheld medieval weapons. And instead of attacking the Human Settlement, he took off down the wooded path, slicing down anything that dare got in his way, searching for the reploids Zekt, Daedalus, and X. His first target would be Zekt of course. He needs his scythe so he can bring down Prometheus and Pandora after giving it modifications. Everything was going according to plan. After he nearly destroys Zekt and steals his scythe for weapon modifcations, he'll then kill his half-brother X. Then with another Fossa Ambience, return back to the cyber world, take down Pandora and Prometheus and gain the powers of Life and Death, be revived back from the dead, kill David, Alia, their friends and the Maverick Hunters, then their other friends and their Navis, then Shadow, and then finally rule the world ridden in a toxic paradise infected by the Limited Virus where the humans and their technological advancement can rot away into the unforgiving historybooks. |

"Found him!" All the Reploids were surrounding a single screen, as they watched RX trudge through the path around Area Zero - now known as Serges Settlement, an odd but partially fitting name. After all... the human who had been responsible for the development of the natural city, integrating it with the nearby nature, was named Serges. What nearly none of them knew was that this had been the name of a Maverick - one of the three who organized the Second Maverick Rebellion, the one who heralded the first of many returns of the renegade Sigma... and one, in particular, that made certain members of this family angrier than normal. "Bastard... what is he planning?" Daedalus snarled, as they watched, nearly impotent. One thought went through their minds, shared instinctively. Finally, Zekt got up, and began walking towards the table. "I'll go. Where is the chip?" he asked, and Lan mutely pressed a button, before the glass container opened. Before Zekt could pick it up, however, Daedalus walked towards him. "Hold it... what do you think you're doing? We haven't even tested that thing yet! We don't have an idea of what that can do to your circuits!" he stated, irritated, trying to stop him from grabbing it. Zekt, however, was faster. "Someone needs to stop him from doing whatever he wants. This mess is partially my fault... and I guess it's my chance of making the right choice, for once. Plus..." he pulled it towards him, ready to insert it in his body. "Marduk's sacrifice shouldn't be in vain." The others were stunned. "You... you would do it?" Lan asked. Zekt did not respond. "Prepare the spatial shift. Take us to the Gobi Desert. Nobody lives there yet. We should do fine," he eventually replied, and as Zekt walked away, Lan was forced to assign different coordinates. "Let's hope this ends well," he whispered, before pressing the button. ... RX would find himself suddenly teleported away, his systems unable to control the change. The next area was a very large desert, with several dusty ruins around them. Standing at a rather visible distance, Zekt glared at his opponent, currently armorless. "RX... what are you doing here?" he asked, distaste clear on his voice. (OoC: Due to a special detail for this fight, you'll have to state whether any moves I haven't seen yet are chips or not. Also, don't fight the teleporting, it's rather important.) |

| RX sneered, he was already at the desert region. The Bakura-voiced Limited Virus scanned the immediate area.
"Sand... sand... all around, but now as solid as GLASS!" He wielded a magical sword. It was similar in apperance to a Zweihander, but it held a fiery orange glow. Smashing the ground with the weapon, nearly five miles of sand was now solid glass. "There, fitting enough..." Dispelling the flame, he put the blade away, and pulled out a twin sword weapon, and waited for anybody who had noticed the sudden spike of energy, to come investigate. Also, because of the Humility Program's armor defense, he had also become invisible to all forms of radar except... |

| "Oh, shove it, jerk," Zekt grumbled, as he stood behind RX, having already called his armor to follow him. "You're here for some reason. What is it?" he asked, before the glass was turned back into sand. "And just answer me before I begin kicking your butt."
... Zero jumped, as he avoided the scythe aimed at his waist. "What do you want with me, Zekt?!" he asked, firing a charged shot at the navy Reploid. Zekt merely laughed, before spinning his other scythe in front of him, the blast being deflected. "What else could I want, Zero?" he responded, grabbing the incoming scythe with one hand. "You're quite the target... and a mercenary needs his payment!" Taking a dashing start, he let a hologram clone attempt a strike at Zero, jumping over the crimson Reploid, letting his boots hover. Zero parried the slash, before dashing through the copy, trying to strike Zekt down. "But the times are peaceful now! Neo Arcadia has forgiven the Resistance - that is, until you tried to ruin our reputation, by attacking the Guardians! We shouldn't have to fight anymore!" he offered, doing a rising slash. Zekt blocked it by inches, laughing. "Of course we do, Zero! What do you think we were made for? Becoming scrap metal for some factory?" he taunted, as his double threw both scythes at Zero, who barely rolled out of the way. "We are battle Reploids... fighting runs in our bloodstreams and programming! Every breath of ours is meant to only bring the next battle closer... everything we do will only represent a match! Embrace the fighting spirit and let yourself be taken by it!" "No..." Zero gritted his teeth, pulling out his Buster once more, and firing straight at Zekt's face. "I'll never become this corrupted creature you are! I'll destroy this evil from the root!" The shot collided against him, making him fall down to the ground, the double disappearing. Standing up, he let his left hand glow with a black energy, which surprised Zero enough to stop his next attack. "I suppose you need some learning... well, then, learn to fear the dark! Take this, Zero! Dark Tornado!" he screamed, before striking the ground. Winds began blowing hard, raising the sands towards him, and forming a tornado. It began speeding towards Zero, fast. |

| There was a reason why he formed five miles of sand to hard glass... he didn't move as he was incased in a thick glassy chamber as spikes shot out from all around. Since he's close-by, he can get impaled if he's not at the safe distance of a mile radius. | |||

| Zekt merely sighed, as his armor flew down to him, before the glass chamber appeared. Jumping up, he let it fuse to his body, before taking the scythe out.
As dark energy flowed onto the scythe blade, he slashed downwards, sending the energy wave onto the glass. Unless it was aligned with the energy's polar opposite, it'd shatter and crack into sand, and so would the five miles of glass. "So, going to respond now?" ... Two blades parried, as Zekt kneeled onto one foot. Standing in front of him, Proebetus tried to grab onto his head with his regular hand, but he managed to kick the Surveyor away, avoiding the actual attack. "Not today, Eastern Lord..." he snarled, making a sphere of dark energy with one hand, waiting for his opponent to move. Proebetus merely sent his shadow to strike, black scythe doubles rising onto the air violently. The noise was enough to create a screech, but Zekt spun his body fast. "What did I tell you? Dark Spikes!" One touch onto the ground, and a dozen of spikes flew upwards, intercepting the first scythe. On another strike, the spikes actually bent forward, intercepting the incoming blades, and heading straight at Proebetus, who made a single swing. "Failure," he said simply, before shadows enveloped his body. Zekt, who had jumped into pursuit, blinked in surprise. "What?" he asked the air, surprised, before the shadows absorbed him. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" |

| There's the reason of RX having such a huge advantage over Zekt, even though he's in the home advantage universal wise; the Humility Program offers the Knight armor and its variety of weapons. Generosity offers attack halt when the enemy is out the range of fire due to the Chastity Program being a mile-wide of enemy territory that surrounds RX. Composure brings RX to full attention all around him and can reflect energy based attacks with the opposite polar energy (Zekt's attack will simply bounce back), Diligence is super-heavy. By super-heavy, even the most powerful of attacks that for other situations means instant death he survives, and he can't even be lifted by the strongest of the strong. Abstinence is the erected glassy barrier chamber surrounding RX, and Contentment lets RX to conjure up glass warriors to protect him.
Four glass warriors armed with weapons formed and charged Zekt, whilst stone spears began shooting up out of the ground to nail Zekt if he doesn't get out of the mile wide enemy zone. Outside the safe zone, he's safe from ANY AND ALL ATTACKS unless he steps or flies back into enemy territory. (edited by Forte.EXE on 01-13-07 07:45 PM) |

| Zekt just snarled, and inserted the chip a bit.
Just a bit. "Get out... NOW!" he screamed, before a wave of True Darkness struck the glass warriors and spears, obliterating them into nothingness at once. The attack also did not merely bounce... it continued to pass through. "A fake Light... You can't simply believe that can stop the True Darkness, can you?" he asked, watching however the next move unfolded. ... "An upgrade?" Zekt asked, as he blocked the strike from Marduk's sword. The huge Reploid nodded, before dealing a single slash that would have cleaved Zero, Sol, and Deathtanz in half, had they not jumped away in time. "Yes... the User is meant to have a body superior than all others, brother. You deserve a body more powerful, one that will embrace its destiny fully. Do not continue this struggle, Zekt... just give up, and you'll become a new warrior," he explained, before groaning as Chilldre fired a large ice triangle at him. Switching his elements again, he stopped in a bright red. "Falling onto patterns again... have I ever told you how much I'm grateful for what you've done to me, brother?" Zekt asked, as his entire body glowed in the peculiar color of the True Darkness. "Never, right? Well, that's because I'm not. Now just give up already! DARK SABER!" he screamed, before a copy of Marduk's sword struck the Reploids down, Marduk crushing it shortly after. "Still foolish... maybe you should have learnt more manners, boy!" |

| "No... but even thought I am permanently stuck in this place, you're still in a hell of alot of trouble."
Unless Zekt is still in the enemy territory zone, the spears will cotninue to rain upwards to smash into his body, and RX summoned another set four of glass warriors. The warriors themselves resemble Stalfos Knights from the Legend of Zelda. He can't move, but he can still move his other body parts. Temporarily lowering his barrier, the twin blases glowed before he released what looks like a crescent shaped moon beam, before the glass shield erected up around him once more. |

| (OoC: Apparently, although I'm close, I'm not in the enemy territory zone. Wyrd.)
"Am I?" Zekt asked, before inserting the chip a bit deeper. A black, transparent shield formed below him, expanding downwards. It was large enough to block the strikes coming downwards and stopping RX from forming anything below him - if he tried, they'd just obliterate once they touched the barrier. "So, mind telling me what do you want in this place?" he asked, even as a black tendril intercepted the blast, draining its power swiftly. He was lowering himself so that he was down to his level. ... "Get down, woman!" Zekt taunted, before slashing at Sol's body, barely managing to strike her. The floating Reploid squealed, but even as he prepared an electric strike, a blue blade intercepted his path, neatly slicing at his arm; if not for the extra armor, it'd have probably been cut in half. "Are you okay?" Chilldre asked Sol, and she merely nodded, before opening her mouth. The rabbit Reploid jumped over Zekt, before he got hit by a flamethrower blast, and sent flying backwards. From behind, Schilt fired an electric blast, a move that impacted onto his body and stunned him. "Now's my turn!" Zero grunted, before dashing towards their opponent, trying to slice him in half. However, Zekt just pressed the ground with his foot hard, before a black energy shield surrounded him. "No way, Zero! DARK COUNTER!" he screamed, before the energy of all the moves was sent back at them, the other Reploids groaning. |

| Zekt had crossed back into enemy territory, which meant that the spears of glass have begun firing like machine guns once more to spear through his body, and the Stalfos Knight look-a-likes have begun traveling towards Zekt, two on attack, the other two on defense. The spears themselves are barrier shatters, so even if Zekt's barrier is powerful, under a steady stream of pircing shards, he can't get close unless he's swift about it.
RX was very similar to the enemy known as the Mother Plant in Metroid Fusion. The Mother Plant was defenseless, had the environment to attack. This is somewhat similar here as of now but with alternative ways for enviromental attack. But the difference is that RX always charges after releasing a charged attack every other turn. One turn to charge, the second to attack, rinse and repeat. |

| Zekt merely landed on top of the large, thick barrier, walking slowly towards RX. The True Darkness that flowed through the barrier obliterated the glass spears flying at him, and he just had to emmit a wave of energy once every few seconds to crush the ones that came the closest. In fact... the glass below the barrier was becoming sand once more, from the effects of the True Darkness. As for the guards, unless they could jump high enough to get right on his position, they'd be unable to get close enough to even attack him properly.
"Not going to talk? Maybe when you're finally nothing, you'll understand how much worth talking today would have been," he grinned, his left hand glowing with the same energy. ... "What the hell is wrong with you?!" Daedalus asked, as he blocked the strikes from his brother/nephew. "Why do you keep using that energy in your moves? It's not healthy for you! It's going to burn into you more and more, until you're nothing more than dust, Zekt! Stop it now!" Zekt, however, had a maniac smile, as he kept trying to slash past the Metal Shield. "No way, Daedalus... I'm not going to stop now! Not until you can accept that my power is much superior than yours!" "The power of darkness, superior? You're sounding a lot like Marduk..." Daedalus stopped, his frown becoming deeper. "No... he messed with your mind too, didn't he? Wasn't the body enough for him?" "Shut your trap!" Zekt screamed, kicking him back to the ground. "I'm under nobody's control! I'm my own self... all I needed was true power! Power I have now! Power you'll suffer! DARK RAVE!" Countless copies of Zekt appeared, each one tinged in black and purple. All of them went straight at Daedalus, whose colors had begun changing again. "Not today Zekt... NOT TODAY!" he screamed, before activating the Time Stopper. As everything slowed down to a halt, he went straight at the original Zekt and gave him a hard kick in the head. |

| "You are wondering what I am doing here? It's simple... X... my half-brother. I want him dead, and then I want your scythe so I can use it after draining it's energy. And then I can leave this wreched world, challenge Pandora and Prometheus, the Keepers of Life and Death, and delete those Navis, thus becoming alive once again." Here's the riddle: If Zekt is up facing against an enemy who is already dead and has a semi-solid body, how can he be defeated? And how can Zekt bypass the tough defense surrounding RX.
"Oh, and don't bother with David Abbott anymore prick. I'm no longer part of his life... and if you still wish to kill him, you won't be able to. Since you're upset he created reploids he needs to die... well if I die, then the invisible seam that even allows you and your friends to travel to that world, and vice-versa, will seal permanently." He sneered a disgusting dark smirk, releasing a blast of green energy, as the knights proved Zekt wrong by leaping high to smash his barrier down, while more spears kept pelting him down with no end in sight. o o o "What? Shun's Master of Games status is being threatened?" "Yeah David. Although I don't see the big deal, RockMan told me we should support him through it. And Shun is taking the threat seriously." "Heh, I have to arrive at Scilabs anyway to see your father. I'll drop by to give my support to Shun and Axl." "Why you have to see my dad?" "Well, it's top secret, but knowing you'll bug your way into finding out eventually-" "I don't bug people til I get what I wanted!" Netto interrupted. RockMan sighed and spoke up. "Netto-kun, remember when dad invented the Synchro-chips before the threat of Nebula...?" Netto gave a light scowl. "Hush RockMan." "-so I will tell you this," David cotninued, "It is going to be a new PET Development. It's still in the creation field stages, but I have decided to name the project for him, the PET GX; GX stands for Generation X." And with a smile, before Netto could try and milk out more information out of David, the older adult hung up the video phone. "Ready Alia?" The woman nodded, holding the sleeping baby while Yuriskah (Yuu-rish-ka) and Marino carried the minor baby stuff. "Yuriskah... an odd name for you, ForteZero." The teen Navi smirked. "Shut up David. It's the best human name I can think up. I'd rather be called Yuriskah when I'm in my human form otherwise." Marino sighed, as the four boarded a copter and soon took off crossing the oceans. |

| Zekt glared at RX... before grinning, as the knights were turned into sand upon touching the barrier. "You are quite the fool, aren't you? Man, I should probably change your name, since you're going to die soon, into Retard X! That would probably be closer to your true mental status!" he taunted, before glancing at the crushed spears.
"Unless it has bypassed your microscopic mind, I DO NOT HATE DAVID FOR CREATING REPLOIDS! I hate him because he's a hipocrite asshole who can't stand the fact that, just because I happen to not be on his side, am not on the evil side! Not because he's created a bunch of robotic bodies for his friends! I mean, those things don't even have natural souls! They're just empty bodies where he shoves his computer programs! They aren't the same as real Reploids!" However, a vision appeared to him... and his grin grew larger, as he pressed the energy onto his scythe. "But enough of that... for now, just DIE!" he screamed, before stabbing the glass barrier. Now, even if it had been made of Ceramitanium, if the barrier wasn't made from the polar opposite energy - and, due to RX's own view in life, he was unable to use it - it would shatter at once. So, the end result was that... |

| "You are quite the fool Zekt... I wasn't even here to begin with. When I used the Fossa Ambience to come here earlier, it was nothing but.... but... but a... mere gelatin virus... tell my half-brother X... I'm gonna kill him." RX shifted into a gelatinous form, before he fully transformed into a Limited Virus, and dissolved into nothingness.
The truth is out there... I mean a rip in time and space shot up in the air, as a familiar icy chocolate voice echoed. "Next time..." And then as swiftly as the message was sent, it had closed up. The Fossa Ambience is the same ability as used by Zoroanroid DarkMan of Greiga. o o o OOC: The following ending is also in fiction, but with a different way of his death. This death is more senseless and brutal, which is how Prometheus is in character. "The Keepers of Life and Death. I have found you at last." The two Navis turned around, and were face to face with Return X. He had failed at getting what he needed, but he was sucessful in being able to copy the strengths of Zekt in a visual sense, thus as a Limited Virus, it's main genetic code is copying another reploid's strengths, and increasing it tenfold and also eliminating its weaknesses. "I am Return X, here to absorb your powers over life and death, and thus destroy the world myself." Pandora simply swung her staff, and an unknown energy force ripped through RX, slicing through him. He grunted, barely standing now. "You are nothing compared to us," she stated. Prometheus stepped forward, and ignited his reaper scythe. He flew forward and spun his weapon in a buzz saw move, dragging RX into the dark air. RX transformed into gel and flew and reformed into a half mangled body, only to become crushed under a giant Ice Jar. "Gah!" He growled, as he got up, forming his iX Buster and fired. Prometheus shot in front of Pandora and reflected the buster shots back towards RX, who rolled clear out of the way. The purple Navi flew forward, prepared to slice, when RX's buster transformed into a beam sword, blocking and holding the Death Keeper at bay. Pandora summoned two electrical snakes as they rushed forward, and RX pushed Prometheus away and sliced the Electric Snakes, deleting them. Prometheus stepped back as Pandora floated forward. RX shot forward, ready to slice her, when with a flick of her hand, a wave of ice pushed him away. The Limited Virus cursed loudly before forming the buster, and fired a charged blast of green energy. She conjured up a Mirror which reflected the attack, scoring a direct hit towards his head, obliterating his helmet, allowing his electric pink hair to stand free like a wild fire of hair locks. RX formed the Dream Sword 3 and swung the weapon, releasing its deadly energy wave. He snickered evilly, before he went pale as Prometheus sliced the attack cleanly in half. He swiftly recovered as he activated his Ultimate Armor. "That's it! You're dead!" Prometheus shot forward, enveloped in black flames as he charged like a fireball, colliding against RX and sending him crashing into a dark pillar. RX got up and released a steady stream of charged buster shots using Ultimate Buster mode. Peometheus was swiftly and quickly deleteing every single shot, before smashing his scythe blade into the ground, conjuring up a massive tidal wave of black energy. RX countered it with Nova Strike. All it did was deal minimal damage, as Prometheus shot forward, and severed his arms from the shoulders, the bloody stumps falling to the ground, screaming in sheer agony. "No... My.... my plan... it was flawless!" Pandora froze his legs and torso, before shattering them into countless crystals with the swing of her staff, and the last thing he saw was the beam scythe impaling his face, and the name, "Final End!"... then total darkness. He never survived the Final End, a deadly attack with the power and strength of ten atomic bombs, in a large wide-radius blast range. "Hmph, that Navi was nothing," stated the Keeper of Death, who had done his job and ended another life. "He had power, but in the end, it was fruitless. Come Prometheus, we must continue our quest in the revival of our master." Prometheus nodded as he deactivated his scythe, and together, the teen Navis shot off into the depths of cyberspace. That also means with RX's death, the invisible seam between two different worlds has sealed up forever. What this means for the reploids is that they can never again travel to the EXE Universe, and vise-versa for the Maverick Hunters, which more likely will never happen anyway. Since RX has disconnected himself from David, he was safe from death, and now one soul less. With his daughter, and his wife, he hopes that peace can be achieved soon enough. For the reploids, if they ever wish to encounter the Maverick Hunters again, it'll only happen in Sim-Battle City, where they will hardly go to anymore... not with the threats of a possible war that affects both the real world and the cyberworld. |

| (OoC: Hell. No. Stop ruining my games! That ending is non-canon in the Sim-Battle Arena, as it simply DOES NOT WORK [Frell, RX wanted Zekt's scythe, and now he doesn't anymore? He somehow managed to have a copy absorb those programs without being there himself?], and I'm going to retcon it. It's the one I'm using as canon, and that's final.)
Zekt snarled... before he threw the scythe at the gelatinous form. The blade struck him in the chest... and then, a black energy form covered him, burning him into nothing. At the same time, a dimensional pull was formed, throughout all the varied dimensions, as Zekt jammed the chip all the way inside. The skies were turned black, and an ominous feeling surrounded the air... ...that feeling... ...it was pure death... The dimensional pull brought RX all the way onto that dimension, right onto the path of the scythe, which was jammed onto his heart. Even if he tried to pull out, he'd find that the scythe did not let him leave OR die... and using chips, or any other ability at all, was worthless - the excess of True Darkness around made it so that only Zekt's will could work. "Bastard... I was offering you the chance of a battle for your life, but even this you denied me! Well, suffer into nothingness for the rest of your pathetically short existance! DIE RX!" he screamed, opening the chest busters, which had been charging ever since he jammed the chip inside his body. For whatever time RX may have seen him, in that pose, maybe he'd have seen a real demon. However, the fact that he was struck by a near-point blank ultra-charged Darkness Overload would probably consume his mind for the last second of his existence, before he became less than nothing. "Aaaagh... AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" Zekt screamed, as he lost control of the blast, due to its extreme power, and was sent flying backwards almost as fast as the speed the gigantic blast went. The combination of the speed and the excess of True Darkness flowing through his body was burning him, causing him to suffer almost as much as RX had, during his last moment, but at a much slower rate. However... at the last moment, the armor exploded, the chip being crushed by the excess energy as well, and Zekt found the shot interrupted. But it was too late... even if he hadn't overloaded himself like that, the internal damage was too much. He... he had failed in his own personal mission... to survive, no matter the cost... ... Throughout the nearby sky, a bright star managed to be seen, flying across the many clouds, despite the harsh sunlight. However... to some, it was only an omen... ...an omen of sadness. True Darkness... Evil Energy... Where did they come from? What formed them? That... May not be known. But some suffer too much for these secrets. ... (OoC: There. RX dead and Zekt's been consumed by the True Darkness. Don't whine.) |
