Is it really so bad for someone to bump a thread that's on the front page in here even if it's older than sin?

I can understand that being lame in the other sections, but Femine's has so little traffic...
With threads asking for advice it's be stupid to bump, but when the topic is fairly general, bumping a thread that's in plain sight could be a way for newer people to put in thier 2 cents... without starting a new thread for no reason.

At least it's something new to read in here?

I have no problem with it, actually, but I lost my mod powers in this forum some time ago. I mean, as long as you're not bumping it for some bullshit comment, then go ahead.

Most forums should be like that within reason, if you ask me; It more comes down to are you interested in the topic or do you just want to get your post count up, and its not that hard to tell.

Yep, I totally agree with you, but lets face it, this "bumping situation" has been talked about over and over again for how many years and will continue from here on out. If you're dumb enough to post in a thread that's six months old with a reply: "Yes I agree with you" then that's ground for a ban for just being, well, dumb. But if you add content to it, especially from a six month later point of view, I say why not. But as mentioned before, we're still going to have the same debate over and over again, and just like life, you can't please everyone, so you might as well get over it.

Closed because there is no real point to keep this open.
