Hmm..... interesting, it even says that you can apply for approval "here" and ... omg.. you can actually click on that "here" and it will take you to the place where you can apply for approval.

CLICK HERE TO APPLY FOR APPROVAL

Just in case the original link was not big enough, as it apparently wasn't. I thought it was fairly clear...

Anybody who can't read instructions pretty much doesn't deserve to get on the Rom hacking board.

Hell, posting here should require some sort of test.

I'm just wondering -- personally I find the following fairly obvious:

But do you think this is maybe not obvious enough?

I don't think we should have to blow it up to ridiculous sizes (like my post above) for it to be seen and used... but still...

I feel partly a bit mean posting extremely large links, yet I also feel like if somebody didn't notice the other (very obvious) link, then... well.. what's a girl to do?

I'm just wondering how this is still open.

And how so much emphasis has been placed on the approval thing, but not on the fact that this thread exists, or that it was posted here instead of the help forum.

There are so many things wrong with this thread!

Yep.

I guess I shall close it now. Due to some confusion issues with newer members I am not overly fond of immediately moving threads -- I will however leave it here for a bit so the original thread poster can find it and see that:

* this is a silly question given the answer is on the forum index
* you need approval to post in that forum
* threads like this should go in the help forum.

EDIT:
* And you should read forum descriptions, they're there for a reason.

So give it 24 hours and then I'd recommend blowing the thread up entirely
