~ Brief Analysis ~
The "Command Mission" is a type of special battle that isn't well known for the people of the Sim Battle Arena (Try playing the game MegaMan X Command Mission... they are both so similar). This is a specialized style of battle David created as of a result of his arch-nemesis Shadow not willing to die easily. Below is called the Element Guard.

This is how the Element Guard works.

[25%] < [50%] < [75%] < [100%] > [150%] > [200%]

Starting at 100% is normal status, which means you take normal elemental damage, not a strong point, or a weakness. If you head to the left, is 75%. That determines that you hold some resistance to elemental attacks but you are still damaged by them. 50% exceeds more resistance to elemental damage, 25% is the best, you take minimal damage from a certian element. Now from 100% going right, 150% means you take extra damage (known as double damage) and is considered a weakness. 200% means you're screwed, as damage from a certain element a character is weak against takes even more damage. Now below are brief profile listings of characters who use this battle style.

David L. Abbott [D]
The leader of the Maverick Hunters. He is very brave and heroic. He always thinks of a few options before executing them, and he always see's to it that his gouls are completed, and the innocent are saved from evil. His wife Alia always worries for his safety, but knows that David will never go down without a fight. David has stared down death in the face once... he died when he pulsed in to stop Genesis Sephiroth, but perished for his actions. He's the only human in history to have seen death and has returned to tell about it.

Alia C. Abbott [A]
Alia is the Hunter's Navigator during their missions. She is a support scouter and provides some details on their surroundings. Donning her special armor, she can use her Alia Buster, which is the same as David's Dark Buster. She's been with David since childhood. Alia has always been there with David through dark times, and she deeply loves him. She is very caring towards all her friends and those closest as family.

ForteZero.EXE [FZ]
The White Shadow, ForteZero. The leader of the 17th Unit Division of Maverick Hunter. He's Forte's younger brother, and harnesses the powers of Light and Darkness. ForteZero too has suffered deletion, once when he was deleted by an old friend Shadow.EXE, then again ten years later when he fought alongside David to try and stop Genesis Sephiroth. Like David, he was revived with the left over program Holydata. ForteZero can be rash, but he can be depended on for support in battle and outside, plus he hates being called InuYasha due to his voice.

Forte.EXE [F]
The Black Shadow, Forte. Team leader of the 0th Special Unit of Maverick Hunter, he's the elder brother of ForteZero. Forte was once an Independant Navi who was created by Dr. Cossack. He had a dark and troubling past, and has always yearned for stronger power. His views changed dramatically once meeting his younger brother, and years later, after the defeat of Genesis Sephiroth, Forte uses his dark powers to help those in need. He also is the holder of trace data of the Living Assets absorbed by Schwa during the copying of Alpha Psibeam. For some reason, he likes to think of Schwa as both a friend and a rival.

Zero.EXE [Z]
The team leader of the 0th Special Unit, with Forte.EXE. He used to be known as the Zero Virus after the defeat of the original World Three when Netto Hikari was ten years old, but after that fateful day when the Zero Network was destroyed, Dr. Hikari reformatted his data to a Navi state, and he wandered the net until ten years later he became David's Navi and given a whole new look after being recovered from a brutal surprise attack. His eyes give the look of a powerful warrior, whose swordsman ability is only rivaled by Blues.EXE.

Marino.EXE [M]
A ninja who studied many techniques, and is a butt-kicking female. She's fast and strong, and her arsenal of weapons able to put a rookie criminal down in five moves or less. Her Net-op is Alia, who lives with David in a small home and are both deeply in love. She looks like a person who steals for money, but it's her looks that can fool a man. She takes on jobs as a mercenary when off-duty.

Spider.EXE [S]
A bounty hunter. Spider is a temporary Maverick Hunter, who helps David and friends whenever he can. Though Spider seems to be someone you can't trust, he is trustworthy in a fight. He and Zekk can always be trusted when you need help, but though Spider is a Maverick Hunter, he isn't always around.


~ Maverick Hunter Status ~
The Hunters each have their own WE Gauge (WE is Weapon Energy) which the maximum limit is 100%. Their "Sub Weapons" are basic attacks they use which consumes a small portion of WE listed in a bubble ( ) -- only two can be useable. Then they have a "Main Weapon", which doesn't use WE, but is known as an Official Attack. Using the Main Weapon to sustain damage onto an enemy ends that character's turn.

Now for WE, when a character begins his turn, they gain a small amount of WE according to how much they started with at the beginning of the battle. When they defend, damage is cut in half and it blocks status inflictions, but when that character's turn comes up and they were in defense, they gain only half WE of what they'd normally receive. Each profile has their current status.

~ Action Trigger ~
The "Special Attack" of the character. It uses WE and the bar must pass the 50% mark. Each form of Action Trigger is different for each Maverick Hunter. Using the Action Trigger ends that character's turn after it finishes.

(Command Armor David - Saber Techniques) More WE = longer time to stack up on attacks. User: Single / C Attack.
> Saber Drop - Armor/Shield piercing, Anti-air attack.
> Saber Drift - S-Spin then saber slash upon opponent.
> Saber Spiral - Wild spinning slash.
> Saber Blitz - Revolving slash, 50%-200% attack power into normal damage.
> Saber Melee - Double-Reverse 360 Critical Hit.
(Charge Shot) User: All / S Attack converts WE into power. Guaranteed critical strike at 100% charge!

(Sakamoto Armor Alia/Iron Maiden - Angelic Aide) More WE = longer time. Alia will heal herself and her comrades that are currently on the battlefield. She creates more hearts with more WE. More Hearts created heals up more damage. User: All

(Forte - Darkness Overload) User: All / C Attack. Single Hit with 10% chance of canceling enemy's attack. Converts WE into extra power.
(Forte Gospel Soul - Gospel Cannon) User: Single / S Attack. Single Hit. Converts WE into power. Guaranteed critical strike at 100% power!

(ForteZero - Z Weapon) Use an alternate weapon to attack the enemy.
> D GLAIVE - User: All / C Attack. Thousand Slash. WE = Longer time.
> S BLADE - User: Single / C Attack. A powerful slash attack at 300% Power. WE = Increased damage.
> B FAN - User: All / Converts WE into power for Scarlet Masquerade attack.
> T BREAKER - User: Single / C Attack. Ignores Shield and Armor at 150% Power. WE = Increased damage.
> K KNUCKLE - User: Single / C Attack. Multiple Hit. WE = Longer time.
> V HANGER - User: Single / C Attack. Multiple Hit. WE = Longer time.

(Marino/Quicksilver - Emotional Reel) The more WE used, the slower the reels rotate.
> No Match: Marino Stamp User: Single / C Attack.
> Three Boots: Hyper Dive User: Single / C Attack at 200% power.
> Three Treasure Chests: "I'll take that!" User: Single / Guaranteed to steal any available item(s) from enemy.
> Three Hearts: "Your life, please!" User: Single / S Attack. LE restore by damage amount (Used in Story Forum only).
> Three Grim Reaper's: "Scattered Flower!" User: Single / 3-Hit S Attack. High chance of felling enemy.
> Three Marino's: Mirage Dive User: All / Double unit does C Attack at 250% power.

(Spider/Trickstar - Fortune Card) Spider plays a hand of Poker. He draws five cards, discards a number of cards from his hand to replace with new ones, and the resulting hand results in the type of attack. The more WE, the better the starting hand.
> Pair - User: Single / S Attack. 2-Hit.
> Two Pair - User: Single / S Attack. 2-Hit. Last hit: 50% chance of critical strike.
> Tri Card - User: Single / Thunder/Ice/Fire element. S Attack. 3-Hit.
> Straight - User: Single / S Attack. 5-Hit. Last hit: Guaranteed critical strike.
> Flush - User: Single / S Attack. 1-Hit. Extra: Blind effect.
> Death House - User: All / S Attack. 1-Hit. Chance to defeat enemy.
> Four Penalty - User: All / Enemy 25% drop in Power, Armor, Shield, and Speed.
> Straight Flush - User: All / S Attack. 3-Hit. Last hit: Guaranteed critical strike.
> Royal Straight Flush - User: All / S Attack at 300% power. Guaranteed to destroy most enemies.

(X-Fire - Charge Collider) User: Single / C Attack converts WE into power. Powerful 100% charge shot!
(Ultimate Armor - Nova Strike) User: All / S Attack. Multiple Hit. WE = Longer time.
(Absolute Zero - Calamitious Arts) User: Single / Ice element. C Attack. Inputs commands to attack enemy. WE = Longer time.
(Sol Cross Rock - Crossover) User: Single / C and S Attack.


~ Item Usage ~
Using an item to either attack or to use on the party will end the turn. There are other items they have, but some are rare, and few are only applicable by a certain party member. Common Items held by the Hunters is:

Ultra Blizzard - User: All / Water attack at 1000 power.
Mega Blizzard - User: Single / Water attack at 500 power.
Ultra Fire - User: All / Fire attack at 1000 power.
Mega Fire - User: Single / Fire attack at 500 power.
Ultra Thunder - User: All / Thunder attack at 1000 power.
Mega Thunder - User: Single / Thunder attack at 500 power.
Unlock Limiter - User: Single / Use once per battle. All parameters at 150% for three rounds.
Gain Hyper - User: Single / Reset Hyper Mode Activations to MAX.
Boost Power - User: Single / 25% Power boost for one battle.
Boost Armor - User: Single / 25% Armor boost for one battle.
Boost Speed - User: Single / 25% Speed boost for one battle.
Boost Shield - User: Single / 25% Shield boost for one battle.
Cure One - User: Single / Heals all status ailments except KO.
Cure All - User: All / Heals all status ailments except KO.
Backup - User: Single / Revive one downed ally with full LE.
Reboot - User: Single / Revive one downed ally with 25% LE.
Vaccine Program - User: Single / Heals Virus status.
Clear Vision - User: Single / Heals Blind status.
Cooler - User: Single / Heals Berserk status.
Anti-lock - User: Single / Heals Bind status.
Warm-up - User: Single / Heals Freeze status.



~ Sub Tank ~
The Hunters have a Sub Tank item that?s used for LE recovery. The total amount they have is 1000% energy. The amount of energy it requires will drain that equal amount from the total amount, which is set in the [Box]. The Sub Tank is accessible by the party currently in battle and accessible by everyone in the party outside of battle, but the enemy cannot use it or access it. Collecting "Tank Energy" items or winning a Command Mission Boss Battle refill Sub Tanks.

[020%] Life Gain 25 - Recover one ally with 25% LE.
[033%] Life Gain 50 - Recover one ally with 50% LE.
[060%] Life Gain MAX - Recover one ally to full health.
[050%] All L Gain 25 - Recover all allies with 25% LE.
[080%] All L Gain 50 - Recover all allies with 50% LE.
[100%] All L Gain MAX - Recover all allies to full health.

~ Hyper Mode ~
A Hyper Mode is a form of power-up used by the Hunters to inflict more damage against their enemies. Using the Hyper Mode gives the characters new "Sub Weapons", a new "Main Weapon", and "Action Trigger".

Trickstar - Spider's color scheme becomes shades of dark gray and black, and is transparent. During this time, no enemy can damage him.
Gospel Soul - Transform into menacing armor with wings. Fly around and attack enemies with absolute darkness.
X-Fire - Fortified armor with powerful Fire element buster cannon. Able to withstand most damage.
Absolute Zero - Demonic version of Gospel Soul. All attacks are Ice element.
Ultimate Armor - Heavy flight armor with two huge weapons. Able to stay suspended in the air with rocket boosters. Almost like a walking or flying doomsday device.
Black Zero - Color scheme is shades of black and gray, purple bodysuit, silvery white hair. Slight increase in several abilities.
Forte Cross Rock - Transform into armor matching the fusion of RockMan and Forte, and harness the powers of light and darkness.
Quicksilver - Color scheme change to shades of black and gray, lose the bodysuit on the legs, green hair turns blond. Gain more speed for faster attacks.
Iron Maiden - Maiden armor fuses to original armor. Fifty percent increase in all abilities.
Sol Cross Rock - Transform into armor matching the fusion of RockMan and Sol Django, and empower one self with the light of the sun.


~ Final Strike ~
This form of attack occurs when the Final Strike bar that appears below the enemy breaks apart when the enemy's vitality has dropped 75% in one turn. All three Active Members converge and attack together to inflict devastating damage. The more enemies fall under Final Strike, the longer the time to attack. All three units must be active.

> One enemy = Three seconds.
> Two enemies = Five seconds.
> Three enemies = Eight seconds.
> Four enemies = Twelve seconds.

When a Final Strike is initiated, the front-unit's Sub Weapons are replaced with "Ultimate Missile" Sub Weapons.


~ Status Afflictions ~
Status Effects during battle. Using a certain item during battle can recover a Maverick Hunter from such status afflictions.

{Virus}
Unit recieves damage up to 5% of LE at the end of each turn.
~Treatment~
Use Vaccine Program, ect.


{Blind}
Hit Ratio against enemies -25%
Hit Ratio from enemies +50%
~Treatment~
Use Clear Vision, ect.


{Freeze}
A unit affected by Freeze cannot take any actions, and will not respond to any commands. A frozen unit takes double damage.
~Treatment~
Use Warm-up, suffer an attack that reduces LE, wait 8 turns, or auto-recover at end of battle


{Bind}
Speed parameters halves, making turns come less often.
~Treatment~
Use Anti-lock, wait 8 turns, or auto-recover at end of battle


{Berserk}
Unit becomes uncontrollable and randomly attacks enemies and allies with standard attacks.
~Treatment~
Use Cooler, suffer an attack that reduces LE, wait 8 turns, or auto-recover at end of battle


{DOA}
A single hit knocks out unit regardless of remaining LE.
~Treatment~
Use Reboot, Backup, or auto-recover at end of battle



~ Navi Customizer Parts (NCP) ~
Each Maverick Hunter have their own set of Customizer Parts which helps aid when in battle. Each Hunter has a set limit on how many programs can be equipped (maximum of four).

David
Escape Unit - (David Only) If front-line unit equips, guarantees ability to flee (excluding boss battles, ect.)
Auto-Barrier - 10% chance to activate a barrier
End to All - Main and Sub Weapons don't give the final blow, but gives you a chance at a Final Strike
Analyzer - If front-line unit equips, provides data on enemies during battle

Alia
Lucky Girl - (Alia Only) Increases number of Zenny acquired after battle by 10%
Undershirt - Survives a fatal blow, leaves behind 1% LE
Auto Recover - When in reserve, unit recovers 1% LE every round

~ Extra Information ~
This special type of battle style is different from Net-Battling and Sim-Battles. David created this when the Command Armor was built. Shadow betrayed David years ago but was deleted as the result of a successful Command Mission. ForteZero and Marino we're the only two Navis who knew its routines. Next after the Dark Nation was brought down, Zero and Forte learned it in order to battle against the supervirus known as Epsilon. A month before the Omega Virus X has entered the real world, Spider; a mercenary for hire, joined the .EXE Maverick Hunters, and helped to battle through Command Mission viruses in the raid into Noah's computer. Finally, during the Neo Arcadia threat, Alia was taught the routines and joined the Hunters out on the battlefield, though she only take sup to battle if she really needs to.

Rotation - With four or more units, fighters can switch between the frontal units with a reserve unit. Rotating battlers does not use up turns, and Rotation cannot be used on the same turn as the activated Hyper Mode.
Cool Down - After using the Hyper Mode one turn, it can be canceled at any time by using the "Cool Down" mode, which will cancel the Hyper Mode and save Activations Rounds for a bigger stronger boss if the battle is like a two parted battle. But it can also be used when the character has no more Hyper Mode Activations. When that happens, the character can use a Sub chip Item called "Gain Hyper" which will reset the Hyper Mode Limit back to maximum. Beating a boss will also reset it back to Max. Cooling Down doesn't end the turn, but Cool Down can't be used when the Hyper Mode was activated on the same turn, and vise-versa.
