I've noticed people who drink a lot of diet pop get desensitized to the nastiness. To the point where they either don't notice the difference, or actually prefer it.
Bad taste is your brains way of telling you not to eat or drink something. I guess after awhile it realizes you aren't listening and gives up. |

I remember one time I was spending the night at a friend's house, I asked if he had orange soda. (Who loves orange soda? I love orange soda!) He said yes. But what I failed to realise was it was Mountain Dew orange soda. I only had three, but I didn't sleep until the next night. 
On a side note, there's suprisingly little to watch at 3AM in the morning on a weekday. I think I saw the entirety of the same infomercial at least twice...  |
