iirc, there was a topic about this on the board, incarnation two I believe.

MM: You'd need to have a board based on x86--not easy since the design was never meant to withstand heat. Also, porting Windows Any.Version would be impossilbe without source code.

NES is old too. Raise your hand if you'd heard of this before?

And yet they don't go "This is really old. Welcome to 1944" when they do World War II documentaries.
we would if someone posted a WWII documentary here. that kind of outdated shit won't stand at Club Acmlm's

And yet they don't go "This is really old. Welcome to 1944" when they do World War II documentaries. Now, whether or not it has been posted before and/or run into the ground is another matter. While I've heard about it, I haven't heard that much about it. Still, makes me wonder if you could port Windows 3.11 to it.

NetBSD is the best thing when you're trying to make a toaster with an ARM-based board and want to port NetBSD to it.

This is old. I mean really old. Welcome to 2004.

Y'know, if I had something like that, I'd be even lazier than I already am.

Actually I can't see it being very convenient. I mean, having to log in to your toaster? It's a neat idea but NetBSD is probably not the best software for the job.

Of course they really only did it so they could finally say NetBSD can even be ported to a toaster.

So I guess, finally, they really can port NetBSD to everything, even a toaster.

I'll be damned.

Yes, it exists. And it plays MP3s. Strangely, I see no mention of emailing you when your toast is done.
