It probably will and Soldier Blade (TG16) is also possible for Europe this week.
There's a LOT of shooters they could end up putting on the VC, to be honest. |

Talk about timing... Gradius is out for the VC today. ![]() |

Yeah, Eyetoy Monkey Mania for PS2 came out only in Japan and Europe.
It's mainly PC games which reach EU countries yet not US however. ![]() Did I mention the PC version of Mega Man X8 is amazing? Excellent game! It even supports the rarely-offered option to use controller rumble. But, still never reached US shelves (digital distribution only there)... I should get more PSP games now that I have a system that can save progress on my memory cards correctly. Of course, being now able to use NES, SNES, and Genesis emulation is alright too. I thank the photo exploit for allowing homebrew with a 2.6 unit. I'm pretty sure that GTA one was removed from 'Greatest Hits' discs like mine. |

The point is that Europe doesn't always get screwed. ![]() Most of the time, yes, but there's always exceptions. |

Terranigma also comes to mind, although SNES ... but yeah. ![]() They have gotten stuff the US hasn't. |

Not always... some strange (and good) things end up getting EU-only releases. That was the case near the end of the NES days where a bunch of good platformers ended up only in Europe. |

Well hold on. You live in Europe, and...
Originally posted by PrincessPeach Now as this is Sony I'm guessing no US release means no EU release either. I hope you're not planning to import it from Japan? They'll send goons to break your legs! ![]() |

They might port some PAL stuff to North America and vice-versa, but I don't see many Japanese games heading over. Maybe some that don't require translation... |

VC is possible, you'd have to think that Gradius and Gradius III will be on there at some point. Life Force/Salamander too... dunno about the market for Parodius here though. That might be a EU thing since I know two games were released there. |

Doesn't excite me.
I'm a killer for shmups, but as an owner of the Gradius Collection for the PSP I can say that the PSP controls are absolutelly terrible for these kinds of games. The d-pad is a monstrousity. It just didn't feel right at all. |
Cynthia Posts: 5506/5814 |
And they already released the Gradius Collection, no?
That's one of the few reasons I'd want a PSP... classic compilations and emulation. ![]() |

Konami releases three (count them) Compilations for PSP, Pop 'n Twinbee, Salamander and Parodius.
Now there good and bad news about this. The bad news first: No US release. I dare to say never. The good news, all will be coming on January 25th, 2007. Source Now I want a PSP. |
