Its simple and points in the right directi- *shot*
And its red and black. It doesn't hurt my eyes and the text is readable. Now it makes me want to make a layout of my own, but... eh, don't know that much CSS... Good job with it. |

Actually, Taryn, yours was fine in IE.
Mine ate it because of my PNG transparencies. They all look grey. |

Comcast High-Speed Internet is my favorite browser |

Really? I (basically) run IE, and your layouts look fine to me... Must be your computers instead. Or maybe Comcast High-Speed Internet isn't the same as IE...
Edit: Then again, when your post is small (like your last one), the arrow gets partially hidden behind you post-counter-thing... |

I'm pretty sure mine would look funky in IE too, owing to the odd way that IE seems to make my .png images darker.
They are fine in any other browser, but in IE they go weird. At least, that's what I'm seeing on my work computer here. IE is special. |

I think you're happier that I got you off your patoot to change over to your own holiday layout. >>
But much obliged anyways! |

Yes, yes it is about time you updated your damn layout
Looks good to me. Glad to see you're getting the hang of CSS I like the simplicity of it too |

After using the same layout concept over and over again, I figured I may as well expand on what works.
Now I've got it to where it actually uses CSS transparencies rather well. I've got X to thank for the numgfx update to where you can use padded zeroes in statistics. The lower right has three layers where I was usually used to 1. This means that I can start using stuff like 3D images and not have to worry about the background behind it where as before I had to have it mimicked ahead of time and only got, really, a 2D approach of it. I mean...it's just wow...it's about time I did something about a dead layout really. Anyways...here's the rundown:
OK. Nice rundown. For those wondering 'wtf is with the arrow' it's from In The Groove. So yea, yet another design to steal after all these years. Fire away and Merry Christmas. |
