I forgot about the pushing thing. That was a nice add in. Although I always forgot about it. *chuckles* The bonus experience was wonderful for the characters that were tough to level up too. Like the clerics or Rolf. This is my favorite Fire Emblem I would have to agree with you Xenesis.

Eh, all it did was remove most of the stupid classes that were re-introduced in FE8 and fixed up the stupidity of the mages.

I mean, Great Knight? Summner?

It also did a lot of great things I must say. The Strength - Weight system is so so so much better than the crappy Con system of the GBA games (Read: The small chibi mage is no longer eternally effed over).

Bonus EXP means that the later arriving characters aren't automatically delegated to the bench. And the fact that the Pre-Premotes are basically on par with any of the unpromoted characers. The support system is also leagues above the GBA ones, because you don't have to wait 230 thousand turns for a support level to increase. ;

Yeah, I like PoR, and think that it's the only truly good one that I've played so far (FE6-FE9)

Kirby: Connecting FE7 and FE8 to PoR only unlocks you two Trial Maps to play per game and some art galleries.

Yeah, they removed some of the classes. Which is kind of a downer. However this game was able to successfully survive a 2D to 3D transistion. Which is a great accomplishment for any 2D game. It was able to keep the spirit of the game while adding something to it.

i'm pretty sure that doesn't make any sense, so no. fe6 and fe7 don't even take place in the same place - if not universe - as fe8, and fe9 goes off to yet another place, so mixing those characters would be foolish. also, fe9 changes the stat system, even if minimally, and thus would prevent such transfers. you can, however, link fe7 - if i remember - to mario kart: double dash to get some special items.

In my opinion this game had good length. Good story.The characters are great. I really liked the bonus exp system. It enabled your less used characters to be able to catch up and reach their potential. Also the skills were a great addition.
