Hm, one just called while I was in the middle of a game. I considered keeping them on the line as long as possible like Alastor mentioned but I wanted to get back to the game, so I opted for something dumber but faster. I paused the game and shut off everything noise, picked up the phone and said absolutely nothing. The guy seemed kind of uncomfortable but after like 15 seconds (I was about to hang up) he asked if he could talk to my dad. I just said "yeah, hang on" in a really weird voice and hung up. Like I said, dumb, but he didn't call back and I was amused at his reaction to me not saying anything.
I was almost hoping he would call back so I could say I must have accidentally hit "hang up" instead of "hold" and dick with him some more, as I was about to stop playing anyway.  |

One time, I got a sales call here (at least I think that's what it was..) very late at night I was tired, so, I wasn't thinking straight and answered the phone in Japanese. Its funny to see how much they paniced because they thought they "called china" You think they would be smarter than that...
One fun trick is when they call, say you can't talk but would like THEIR number to get back to them. When they say "no, I don't like to be bothered at home", say "Really? me either" and hang up  |

Telemarketers suck. Usually when a telemarketer calls, when they ask me crap like "Are you satisfyed with your long-distance provider?"
Here, I take the air horn, hold the button for 3 seconds and ask, "That answer your question?" then *click*. |

n3g-z3r0, that reminds me. A few days ago some Jehovas were approaching, and I guess my dad saw them through the window. He shouted "JEHOVA ALERT" and they just turned around and left.
As for telemarketers, I do some fun things with them sometimes, but I like Alastor's idea more than anything. |

The idea of the song that never ends is quite amusing...When telemarketers call, I tend to give them bullshit answers to their retarded questions...Then I make "Sinfjotle" do the same...You know what is really fun? Messing with Jehova's Witnesses  |

I prefer to play a recording I have of "the song that never ends" on a loop to annoy the telemarketers and make them hang up. So far I have annoyed all telemarketers and none call back.  |

I play along as long as I can, but when we get to the point where I would be buying something, I say I've decided I'm not interested. They think they're getting a sale, but no, I just wasted their time. If I had just hung up they wouldn't have most much, but they lost many a potential sale because I kept them going.
I would imagine they find this quite annoying. |

I get a lot of calls where my brother has accidentally dialled my number while his phone is in his pocket, but that wasn't one of those either. |
