Ok, I'll try that. |

If the problem is that you can't find the router in the View Available Wireless Networks window, you should try changing the channel inside the router. In most cases it's set to 01; change it to 06 and try again. |

MetalMan's first question is asking whether the access port encrypts the information you get from it. Commonly to protect access points from not being used by unauthorized people, you activate encryption, such as WEP. |

Do you ever get a message from the icon in the systray saying "Limited or no connectivity"? |

Do you have WEP, WPA, or whatever? Make sure your computer/stuff is compatible.
Is it plugged in? Do you know the name of the connection from the Wifi? So many more questions are needing to be answered before I can really help. |

Ok, I just installed this wireless adapter on sunday, I\'m usually good at fixing computer problems, but I have only recently tried wireless. The reason why I\'m trying to go wireless is that I want internet in my bedroom. But it isn\'t working, even though I know where a router is. Anyways, the adapter is an AirLink, if that helps. I\'ll get my computer specs later, as that might be part of the problem. |
