Yeah, all the EXE games makes you start with horrible chips and a weak buster. Luckily the enemies are extremely easy, but still, yeah, it's somewhat annoying.

As for Transmission, just use battle chips against enemies, and ignore the buster until you power up its attack and charge levels. The stages are short enough to get through with you limited supply of chips at the beginning, and for latter stages, you have a huge library of goodies to choose from. And the "secret" chip Popup is pure awesomeness. 30 seconds invulnerability when not attacking, yay.

That´s how I beat Yellow Devil in MM3. I knew where every block were coming from.

Grey: I only think that the last boss is hard. The other bosses are quite easy.

Pirvate Adamant: Exactly. The Yellow Devil's blocks always follow the same pattern, so dodging them is really easy. I also think the Guts platforms are really, really easy. The flying enemies in Ice Man's stage are a total pain, though; that's why I bypass them by using the Magnet Beam. Going through the sages in the proper order ensures you'll have that beam by then.

The lifts in Guts Man's stage can be easily bypassed by using the Magnet Beam (which can be gotten by blasting the blocks covering it with the Thunder Beam, you don't NEED the Super Arm).

And I find those flying heads you have to jump between over a pit in Ice man's stage harder than those lifts.

Rockman 1 is easy, IMO. I don't see how it could be considered very hard, unless you suck a Guts Man's stage. Also, Rockman 7/8 are only hard at one place in each game.

I voted 7 because of the fire orbs that Wily shoots. They are the worst of the orbs because they drain a lot of energy, are pretty fast and are like homming missiles, but in 3 steps, kinda hard to explain . There are many in which i can think, such as the first part of the first Wily' level in 8. If you try to get all the screws you'll probably die if you have a bad timing, or because you don't know the path, even if they show messages when to jump or slide, it's just a matter of reflexes. Also king is somewhat hard in MM&Bass/RM&Forte, when he shoots that damned X's, you've to guess if they're gonna be shoot upwards or downwards (i don't remember if he shoots them in the center too)

The original MegaMan

What. the. Hell.

Bakc then I blamed the game.

Now I simply realized that I suck at these games.

And Mega Man Network Transmission? I never understood what was supposed to be hard in that game. You pretty much drown in immortality chips and big awesome weapons of doom.

So yeah, MM7 and it's last boss. MM8 has those hard snowboard stages, and MM2's first Wily form is rather hard at Difficult (which was originally the only difficulty level. It's the only one i MMAC as well.)

What.

Yeah, that's easy to say.

Could someone explain to me how that boss is even possible without that glitch? I couldn't even do it with frantic save-states.

I meant to click on 8, but I accidentally clicked 7. Anyway, 8 because of the Wily level. It takes like, 2 hours, and the only time I've ever found myself able to beat it was one summer morning, at about 4:30.

You should be able to beat 2 through 4, Grey. :\ Not saying they're a piece of cake but you probably wouldn't die 300 times or anything.

2 and 3 were about as good as it got for the series. The peak.

What the hell, you guys. Megaman 7 is easy shit, even the final boss.

Now, the original NES games, I can't stand those. I absolutely suck at all of them. Maybe I just don't have the skill...

The original was hardest overall. Megaman 7... hardest boss. I know a easy trick to beating him though, so I can do it easily. I did it without using E-cans before even.

Who voted two?

Who the hell voted for two? Because I'd be damned if that and 3 weren't the easiest.

Now, Megaman: Network Transmission. That one was a bitch.

I remember Crystal Man being hard. And even if I'm wrong, his stage was the longest in the game if I remember correctly. So there.

Oh... I beat MM&B without cheating. But it's certainly up there in terms of difficulty, especially since you have to play through it twice if you want all the CD's.

MM7 is like a walk in the park until the final - final boss.
I've never played MM&B because im not much of a megaman fan, but 1 was pretty dang hard.

I fail to see how it's possible to beat Rockman & Forte without the use of save states or ZSNES's rewind key.

Cheap boss? Pff. Not really. He's an easy dodge for his projectile shots. Crystal Man reminded me of Marc Summers back when I was 10 or so...this being the case, I watched way too much Double Dare when I was a kid.
