A table would allow me to keep a log of it, instead of a field, which would easily just be overwritten later, not to mention it wouldn't keep up very well. They could easily be outdated if you started using bookmarks again.

I was going to make it log the time, IP, and user logged in (if any), instead of logging it with the user variable.

Hell, I think there's already an (unused) table for it.

Eh, unless you keep the original referrer when someone signed up or logged in, it'll just quickly get updated to something like the board index or a forum, effectively negating the usefulness.

That, and I can track leechers, too -- I found some stupid proboard that was stealing someone's avatar from here, so I served them goatse instead.
