I know the feeling. My old g/f broke up w/ be b/c she said i was a pessamist. For me she got tired of me complaining about my Great Granma that i live with. If it just a subject that you complain about, try not to talk about the subject. Just try to think about what hapened right & not what went wrong or what is going wrong. Or just make fun of the subject. You do kinda need to be a bit more specific about this to get better help. |

Personally, I'm a slackist. When I have something to think about, I always rather not think about it, good or bad.
Rather, I'm a lush. The bad of the two. All I do is muse. Actually I'm a stoic. A nominalist stoic. Who's too lazy to be a philanthopist. Perhaps I am a hopefulist. An Irrationalhopefullush, with stoicslack qualities. |

I prefer pessimism b/c when things go right, I'm always pleasantly surprised  . If one is optimistic, it's just a setup to be let down. |

What can I do to overcome my pessimism and negativity? Because I'm being negative toward someone who I love. Yes, she's my girlfriend. How can I stop it and let it go. I felt terrible for it to happen. I would like help or tips. Thanks. |
