I had a key lock on my locker (even though the school demands a combo lock so they can get into it _¬ they never complained) and would always pull out my Shippo keychain to open it. Nobody really noticed.
Also, Sukasa's story reminds me of a time in computer class, I looked over for no apparent reason and the girl beside me was browsing, guess what, http://board.acmlm.org. I asked who she was but she said she wasn't actually a member, just sniffing around. Makes me wonder how she found it; I never used that computer so it wouldn't have been in a history log, and she didn't seem like the ROM hacking type.

At school yesterday I saw someone wearing cat ears and had an Inuyasha back-pack on. At first this meant nothing to me....Then I realized I was actually awake.
At lunch the same day, Someone was boasting about how they loved the PS3. I looked around for a second, looked back to see food and other objects being thrown at him. I saw a freshman in a trash can  that was actually quite hilarious because the kid was really short and only his head stuck out of the trash can NOTE: he was standing up |

Cars which burn rubber in the intersection. They always do it at the oddest time.
An apple carelessly thrown on the ground, uneaten. Odd. People do some weird things, too. Like wandering into the street to see if the bus is coming. |

That's the first thing I thought too, Danielle.
Didn't see the guy today, but then again, since I've been handlign sound in the Gymnasium for the past 4 hours or so, I guess I never really ahd much of a chance. I also saw a girl who wore Bunny ears taht day... but I've seen her wearing those a lot before.
EDIT: Actually, I'm still expecting for Ailure to see this thread and ask me where I live. You figure out why  |

Yesterday as I was walking past a supermarket I saw two people come out with bags of milk, then drop the bags and run. They were properly bagged, so I doubt they'd been stolen. Nobody really paid attention to them. |

I was playing City of Heroes yesterday and I encountered a Rikti soldier fighting with a Rikti Drone. Apparently, the soldier was on the losing side of the fight, as the server assigned it the animation where it continuously gets hit in the face. But the Drone has no arms. No appendages whatsoever. It just floats there. But it was punching the soldier in the face.
Likewise, in the same game, an enemy group called the Council found an alternate dimension via portal technology where the world had been taken over by the Council. Approaching a corner, I heard two Council baddies talking to each other. "What do you think the other world is like?" "I hear the world's Council has truly mastered its people." Moving around the corner, I found that the second dialog was spoken by a missile-flinging robot. Council robots aren't supposed to be sentient, but this one apparently listens to gossip. |

Yeah, like the thread asks, are there any things you ever see that just surprise you because they just seem out of place?
Dunno how wierd this is, but yesterday at school there was this guy walking aorund... wearing cat ears. I dunno if that seems out of the ordinary for you, but that's just a *little* off where I live. |
