Bionic Commando - the only platformer I know where you can't actually jump.
Bubble Bobble - as if the others hadn't said it enough already. Elite - one of the greatest games in the history of ever. Kirby's Adventure - a classic, already mentioned. River City Ransom - the best side scrolling beat-em-up ever made. period. Solar Jetman - it's good, but I think I'm the only one who has ever heard of it. Spy vs. Spy - just for it's sheer crazyness. Trog - sort of like pac-man, only much better. |

Snow Bros. was weird... not a bad arcade-style game but I still prefer Bubble Bobble.
Nuts & Milk was a first-gen NES game but I think the reason they never brought it here was the title. Even back then. |

Kind of a brain teaser game. You control two characters at once in a maze. Though I'm not sure if that's what it's really called, because I played it on a pirate cart.
