Well FcEuXd SP has a built in hex editor, which you can snag here.
Or, you can try somma the other hex editors here. Which hex editor is the best? You might wanna look at a thread on which hex editor people like to use, see the thread here. Good luck with your hack. |

In how do I edit it?
Is there a way to make it run and something triggers like spells or attacking and it freezes the emu;ator telling you that's there any changes? Hopefully you get what I mean. |

1st off...you should have to double post...
2nd off... I really havn't herd of much ff3 hacking...so I don't even know anything about the rom. As far as restoring your spells it should be simple hex editing in your save and such. |

Hi,
Sorry for not being in this board for awhile because I was busy with college because school will be over in 3 weeks. Anyways, I have a huge problem with hacking through the game. I'm looking for a missing terrain for Geomancer. I was surfing through warmech.net and download the AVI of gameplay in Final Fantasy III. I've noticed that the Geomancer uses the terrain attack that wasn't in the final. It shows many falling leaves on the screen and it does no damage to the enemies but the spell name is Jishin which is Japanese for Earthquake. Is there a way I can find missing spells or stuff in the game? I want to restore the "lost" spells for my hack. I also edit the AVI video to the part I was talking about. |
