Posts: 201/279		 iD's theme from XenoGears, everytime you heard it you knew that shit was going down. Also, the theme from Super Dodge Ball on NES, that just made you want to jump up and throw balls around the room for no apparent reason.

Flak owns. Hawke owns. Jess owns. Grit owns. I could keep going here but it's just that this game has a very WIDE variety of character themes to choose from and I don't think any of them can be chosen to be the best in it.

Posts: 992/1239		 Personaly, I'm a fan of Mira and Yumi's themes from Tokimeki Memorial (though I perfer the SNES rendition of Mira's a bit better...its just "nicer" I guess). Many of the character's from that game had some pretty cute themes to go along with their personalities, too (yes, I'm looking at you, Yuina )

I've always had a liking for Cyan's theme though. But most of the character themes in FFVI are excellent. Schala's is up there too.

Posts: 299/427		 A four-way tie between Kefka's and Terra's theme from FF6, Balmung's theme from .hack//Outbreak and Schala's Theme from Chrono Trigger.

Not an easy choice either on my side, but this made me notice a lot of games which have soundtracks I otherwise like a lot appear to entirely lack character-specific themes.

Mine would have to be a tie from Schala's Theme (CT) or Edgar's Theme (FF3) I like them both equally, but meh...too tough to decide which is better.

You've got to be kidding. I'm at this point still trying to comprehend how stupid that post was.

Also, I like Magus's "theme" from Chrono Trigger. I consider it a theme because although it is his boss music, it is also played when you defeat "Zeal" at the Black Omen with him in your party, so it is not just one or two battles with him in which it is used.
