I only smoke when there are other people who I want to give cancer because I'm a horrible person and love it when people inhale secondhand smoke and I just want to hurt them so bad
... sure. |

Why do you idle your time in front of a computer? You get something out of it.
Besides, that is only cigarettes. Pipe, hooka, cigars, and other types of tobacco offer a whole range of flavours and experiences. It is like drinking fine liquor, you're not getting anything out of it but the experience. I guess that in some cases that really enjoying experiences is a fact of maturity. Mind you, everyone has some experiences that they're not going to take part in or enjoy. And not enjoying smoking is perfectly normal. |

May someone explain the thrill in smoking? I find it pointless just standing around with a tiny cylinder in your hand that has the potential of killing you. |

Some people do end up chewing dip, because they're idiots. They end up getting really sick. My buddy did that because the clerk at the store didn't know the difference between the two. |

This is chewing tobacco.
This is dip. See the difference? Dip (or snus as it is called in Sweden, apparently) is loose cut tobacco, wherein chew is a twisted knot of tobacco. For the last time: You do not chew dip. This is not an opinion, this is fact. |

I don't dip religiously. Maybe once a week if I have no smokes.
And that guy who was chewin' his dip either A: Likes puking his guts out, or B: was doing the pouches, and not the loose cut. |

I've noticed that I've been seeing more and more people using dip and I have to say, they look really dumb doing it. Dip looks ridiculous and obvious; I don't get it. Cigarettes smell like ass...I have yet to smell anything so awful and choking. The people I see who regularly smoke are spending the rest of their time coughing like crazy. Tobacco all in all is something I'll never understand why people use. The health effects are really not worth it.(most people know about all that crap) Dip gives you lip cancer, and like permanently pushes your gums down past the point of regeneration.
Although I really despise any sort of substance use, it's always important to not hate the people but to hate the addiction. To me, food is the best. |

I smoke. Used to stop it but started again because of stress with my parents. |

Nope, can't say that I have or ever will..mainly because of the whole asthma deal, plus, if I'm gonna smoke something, it's not gonna be cigs/tobacco. |

You don't chew dip, man.
You shove in between your lower lip and your gum, and just leave it. You salivate, and you spit a lot. If you swallow, you puke. Simple as that. |

Dip and chew should be the same thing... |

Well, you don't inhale.
You savour the flavour. Like a really, really, really fine wine. |

As for me, I don't want to since I've learned from some of the less cool side effects from my parents etc . (And it smells ick) |

My money and lungs are well spent in other places.
Although, some chew smells good. |

At this point, I might as well say none. Just don't have the desire... although it's amazing how drinking changes that. |

I do not, and believe anyone who does so on a regular basis (addiction) to be an idiot.
Bite your tongue with comments like that in threads like this. Don't fan the flames, so to speak. Oh, while I'm at it... *votes for the option with the biiiiiig purple bar* |

Don't smoke. Don't think I ever will. Doesn't attract me. Plus, my breathing isn't perfect now, so I can't imagine what smoking will do to my lungs. |
