Same here. I prefer a million little blinky lights with no apparent pattern to them.

... at first I thought the object in the drawing was a toothbrush. oy.

Then I see this discussion of autism and asperger's syndrome. I don't really think I'm autistic but I do enjoy looking at street lights when it's raining out at night. And watching puddles they reflect into reminds me of the line based diagrams of magnetism in action in my old textbooks. It's basically a bunch of white lines dancing erratically in a sea of black. Someone should put it on video, it's quite striking.

Whoa. I never have met autists, in any way. IRL, irc, none.
So whats its like? Do you even notice it?

Uh, sorry. The picture is nice. I often enjoy looking street lights.
Never met? This forum is literally shockfull of them, and the varities. I happen to have aspberger myself. :p

Although I didn't know that the lampost thing was a sterotype. I knew that Acmlm liked them alot (and also drew rather wierd drawings) but oh well.

My brother has Asperger. I've never heard or seen him talk about streetlights at all. I've never even heard of such a stereotype. In fact, that reminds me, I think I was almost more phased by streetlights when I was younger than my brother is now. And he's about 8 years old. Weird.

I thought I had asperger, then I though I had ADHD, even if they may be associated with each other. Turns out I don't.

I never liked street lamps.

Nope, I think it's just a really short street lamp.

Yea well, that's why it's a stereotype, and not the truth.

Don´t ask me why but I came to think about South Park when I saw the guys face for some reason.

Well, I´m not usually that good on criticizing people but I like the sketchy style of it. Such drawings are usually nice.

...stir it with your Wacom stylus and this is what you get. A picture of a stereotypical austist staring lovingly towards it's favorite (and highly clichéd) subject.

Seriously, people like that know more of street lights than most geeks know about their favorite OS.
